🚨 STOLEN RABBIT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Edit to add: I contacted Colorado Springs Dispatch and confirmed the case number matches the story - there is a rabbit in a vehicle reported stolen.

Our hearts are breaking as we ask for your help finding Boba, a 6-month-old black rabbit who was stolen this morning in Colorado Springs.

Boba was inside a black 2008 Ford Edge when the vehicle was stolen during a fake DoorDash order in the 1000 block of Magnolia St. The vehicle was taken around 5:42 AM on June 09, 2026. Some belongings were later found near E. Cache La Poudre St. and K**b Hill Ct., but Boba is still missing.

💔 Boba has been without access to his hay, water, and familiar surroundings. Rabbits are extremely sensitive animals, and every minute matters.

🐰 Boba's Description:
• 6 months old
• Black rabbit

🚗 Vehicle Description:
• Black 2008 Ford Edge
• License plate removed/discarded
• Dented driver's-side fender
• Foggy headlights

💰 $1,000 REWARD offered by the owner for Boba's safe return.

📞 If you have any information, sightings, security camera footage, or know the whereabouts of Boba or the vehicle, please call:

King Bunny was found outside all alone before being welcomed into a home where he is absolutely adored.

Domestic rabbits don't belong outdoors. Every rabbit found and safely brought inside is a chance for a completely different future.

Today, King Bunny is living the life every rabbit deserves: good food, a safe home, and a family who loves him beyond measure.

Stories like his remind us why rescue matters. One rabbit, one family, and one second chance can change everything.

Meet Tinsel 🖤

Tinsel's story is one of resilience, hope, and second chances.

She came to us from Eagle, where she was being raised as a meat rabbit. Instead of becoming another heartbreaking statistic, Tinsel was given a chance at a different life.

Today, she is living exactly the life every rabbit deserves: safe, loved, spoiled, and cherished in a wonderful forever home.

Stories like Tinsel's remind us why rescue matters. Every rabbit is an individual with a unique personality, the ability to form deep bonds, and the capacity to bring so much joy into the lives of the people who love them.

Seeing Tinsel thriving today makes every difficult rescue, every late night, and every challenge worth it.

Thank you to her amazing adopter for giving her the happy ending she deserved. ❤️

🐰 Mr. Whiskers Update 🐰

Yesterday, Mr. Whiskers went home with his mom after receiving several days of around the clock care here at The Bunny Basement.

His stay included supportive care, medications, syringe feedings, tummy massages, close monitoring, lots of Critical Care cleanup, and plenty of love while we worked to help keep him comfortable and moving in the right direction.

I'm so happy to share that his gut is starting to move again, and he's beginning to p**p. For a rabbit, that is a huge and hopeful step.

Thank you to everyone who followed his journey and sent kind thoughts his way. Please keep cheering him on as he continues recovering at home. ❤️🐰

Mr. Whiskers is heading home today. ❤️

While he’s still not eating on his own, he has been receiving assisted feedings, medications, tummy massages, and lots of love while staying with me. His head tilt has improved, and we're encouraged by the progress he's made so far.

His mom will continue his care at home, and we’re all hoping he starts eating and p**ping normally again very soon. Rabbits can be incredibly resilient, but recovery from an inner ear infection can take time.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, offered advice, shared your own experiences, and sent positive thoughts for this sweet boy. Your support has meant so much.

Please keep Mr. Whiskers in your thoughts as he continues his recovery journey at home. 🐰❤️

Mr. Whiskers Update 🖤

At this point, I think it's safe to say that Mr. Whiskers and I are both made of Critical Care.

We're both covered in it after another day of medications, tummy massages, syringe feedings, and trying to convince a very stubborn bunny that eating is a good idea. Mr. Whiskers may not appreciate my efforts, but he's certainly making sure I wear half of every feeding.

We're still waiting for normal p**ps, but we're not giving up. Every little nibble of greens, every tummy rumble, and every small step in the right direction gives us hope.

Recovery isn't always glamorous. Sometimes it looks like bunny burritos, messy feedings, and a human covered in Critical Care while a rabbit plots their escape. But this sweet boy is worth every minute of it.

Keep cheering on Mr. Whiskers. We're taking it one feeding, one tummy massage, and hopefully one p**p at a time. 🖤🐰
