Meet our horse and rider teams! Introducing Russell and Lezlie!
“I’m excited to participate in this clinic with my horse, Russell Stover. Russell is an 8-year-old Oldenburg standing at 18.1 hands. I have owned him for nearly six months, and we’re still just getting to know each other. As his first owner outside of his breeder, we’re building a strong partnership and have just begun competing at the 3rd level. I admire Russell’s willingness to work, patience (with me!), curiosity, and affectionate nature, which make him a joy to ride. I love dressage for its mental and physical challenges, as it teaches valuable life lessons like patience and discipline. I started riding at age 5 and discovered my passion for dressage as an adult.
I’m enjoying this new chapter in my life with this new horse. I believe that “God saves the best”

Bravado is a gorgeous 12 yr old Hanoverian
Confirmed Intermediate I schooling Grand Prix.
Goals: Meet both my horse and I full potential.
“Bravado is my first horse purchase and now I’ve brought him along from barely training level to almost Grand Prix! I love him because of his ability to trust and believe in me as his partner which has allowed us to grow and enjoy our dressage adventure together!”
“It’s the only thing in my crazy life that keeps me grounded.”
Kelsey is a Celina local, dressage trainer and mom of 2 young boys.

Meet the horse and rider teams! Introducing Jennifer and Rubin!
Jennifer bought Rubinaire as a 3 year old. She had been in an extensive search for a new forever horse and after four failed vet checks on other horses he came into her life. She wasn’t raised riding from the beginning like most, but kept gravitating towards dressage. They tried jumping, which he loves, and he evented for 2.5 years under an event trainer while she healed from surgeries. She is mostly back and healthy now and shooting for a bronze medal.

Meet the horse and rider teams! Introducing Mallory and Cora!
EllaCora, Coraline, Cora, “Mistress of the dark” is an expressive and beautiful sport Friesian and Lybren’s sister!
“I am so beyond in love with Cora. Not only is she strikingly beautiful, she is the perfect mix of talent, sass, intelligence, athleticism, sprinkled with a bit of stubbornness. Cora makes me a better rider and horsewoman, she has to trust you fully, but when she does, you truly dance connected as one”
Mallory fell in love with EllaCora when she tried her for a client, as it turned out, she wasn’t a good fit for the client, but absolutely perfect for Mallory. Mallory and Cora have been working hard on coming together as a team with hopes of a successful upcoming show season. They have their sights set on becoming a Grand Prix team.
“Every ride I have with her is beautiful and brings me to tears. I always feel in awe of her beauty and amazed at how she shows up for me. She is sensitive, loving, and truly a once in a lifetime teammate. I feel like she chose me, and I am so thankful for that gift.”

Lybren Van G is a handsome sport Friesian!
Diane is working towards showing, getting her bronze medal and would love to one day ride Grand Prix!

Diane has owned and raised Lybren since he was 4 months old. He has always been a kind horse who loves interacting with people, and is one smart cookie!

“I find that I compete against myself. I want to make myself better even in the hard times. When I show, it’s not against the other competitors, it’s more about finding how far I’ve come in whatever accomplished to do at that show.”
Diane has a bachelors of science in Equine Science from Stephen’s College. She started out with hunters and jumpers and became more involved with Dressage when she moved to Canada in 2010. That is where she had the opportunity to ride and experience upper level lesson horses.

Meet the horse and rider teams! Introducing Spicy Chicken Nugget and Mallory!

Gusto “Gustavo” “GusGus” “Spicy Chicken Nugget” is a 9 year old OTTB that I found on Craigslist!

Our goals are big! Grand Prix, in a BIG, BIG sandbox! To go as far as we possibly can, together as a team, with the help and support of our trainer, Julio Mendoza!

“Gus is my absolute heart horse, I can’t imagine my life without him. When I found Gus on Craigslist, he was untrained, a reject from the track, and was starving in someone’s front yard in Oklahoma. I felt an instant connection to him and just knew he had a beautiful heart! He and I both have come from nothing, and are filled with passion and zest for dressage! We have worked tirelessly, through constant setbacks, to be where we are now. Gus, who truly is a spicy chicken nugget, has beat cancer twice; time and time again he proves the odds wrong! He is an absolute fighter and survivor! He is so much fun and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect partner!”
Dressage allows for a beautiful partnership between horse and rider, which to Mallory is absolutely paramount. The most important thing to Mallory is her relationship and partnership with her horse. She believes that they are absolutely amazing and that we are so incredibly fortunate that they allow us to ride and become teammates with them!
Mallory was basically born on horseback and constantly feels an overwhelming thankfulness for that gift! She grew up riding hunter jumper, trail riding, doing endurance races, starting Arabians, playing polo, and now has found an absolute love in dressage! She grew up with the opportunity to learn and appreciate all aspects of horses, which had allowed her to connect with these beautiful animals on such a deep level. She owns a training and boarding facility: Crowterre Equestrian, in Celina, Texas and gets to live out her dream every single day!❤️

Prydarson’s “Elenor” - 6 y/o Fjord Mare

Goals: 2025 - to get consistent high 60s in our Training Level Scores and recognition in Training Level USDF All-Breeds Awards representing the Fjord Breed.

“Elenor not only shares my love for unique style and aesthetic vision, but she also has a bold, can-do attitude and carries herself with bravery and confidence—qualities I deeply admire. As my first mare, she perfectly represents the strong-willed, opinionated nature of mares, making our partnership a true testament to teamwork and mutual respect”

“Dressage as a discipline pushes me to be thoughtful, present, and adaptable. The pursuit of balance, suppleness, and correctness keeps me motivated, while the structured progression allows me to set and achieve meaningful goals. Most of all, I cherish the bond dressage builds between horse and rider. The trust and teamwork it cultivates make every small success feel like a major accomplishment. It’s a lifelong learning experience that constantly inspires me to grow”

Paige grew up in New England riding her grandmother’s home-raised Morgans and later as a working student for an OTTB trainer in Ocala, earning training and showing opportunities. After stepping away to build her design and real estate brokerage—and film an HGTV series— she returned to the horse world when her oldest daughter started riding, leading her to acquire her first OTTB and dive back in fully. Outside of riding, she loves champagne and spending long hours at the barn with her daughters and their ponies.

Kelsey has set her eye on getting back into the show ring, both for dressage and eventing, perhaps even a jumper show as well!

Kerble has pushed Kelsey as a rider and athlete!

“Dressage is the foundation for eventing, and I’ve noticed a difference in my riding ability over and between fences after spending a few years only in the dressage ring.”

Introducing Liz Soler and Mikey (aka Magic Mike)

Goals: Lightness
I love Mikey’s sweet, smart, and expressive personality but mostly that he never stops trying.

What you love about dressage: You can always learn, grow and strive to do better and that every horse can do it. The feeling when you and your horse are perfectly together no matter what level or movement, it’s the best feeling.

“I have been riding my whole life (dressage and eventing) and really got addicted to dressage as an adult when I bought a clumsy warmblood who needed to learn to balance and be organized, so we did a lot of dressage and he was better at that then falling over jumps. I had a boarding and lesson barn in Washington, where I am from. Life, and a very nice Friesian mare inspired me to go to vet school and now I work as a veterinary ophthalmologist in Plano. I bought Mikey in vet school because he was the perfect pony for stress reduction. Now he has been with me through my internship and residency from WA to IA to OK and now Texas. My other love is my husband Dave who knows I am more sane after I go to the barn”

Introducing Emilee and Batman!
Batman is an 7 year old German Hanoverian by Secret out of a Weltmyer mate, gelding, working towards Grand Prix.
“Batty is a calm, loving boy on the ground and is a great teammate under saddle”

Emilee loves the journey of taking horses from green to Grand Prix and all the dedication and hard work that goes into training.

Emilee Spinelli is a professional dressage trainer that has ridden her entire life. She has been training with Julio Mendoza for 7+ years. She has trained all types of horses to all different levels and absolutely loves creating a strong foundation for the horse and rider.

Introducing…. Michelle and Sarape!
Sarape is a 11yr PRE
Michelle is working towards her bronze medal with Sarape and hopes to one day ride the Grand Prix or atleast the 1x tempis!
“Sarape is the kindest horse I have had to privilege to build a relationship with let alone own. He gives himself to me every ride willingly. It’s never a bad ride from him he is very tolerant of me! He has truely taught me how to be a better rider and horsewomen. I can’t love him enough for all the amazing lightbulb moments we have achieved together.
What you love about dressage- When you finally get to it right how effortlessly it feels. You can’t help but want more.”
Michelle started riding at 10yrs old when she moved from Canada to Texas. Her mother said “you can’t live in Texas and not ride a horse” the rest is history. Sh rode Hunter/Jumpers until she took up Eventing in her teens in addition to being in Pony Club. It wasn’t until 2020 that she picked up riding seriously again and wanted to focus solely on dressage and shortly after bought Sarape in 2021.
