Mixed Animal Practice in rural S.E. Kansas. We provide veterinary care for your small and large animals in-clinic as well as home/ranch visits.

Owned and operated by Dr. Ronald Lenington and Mrs. Linda Lenington of rural Cedar Vale, KS, the Bluestem Veterinary Clinic has proudly served rural Chautauqua county since 1978. Randi has joined us and is a great asset to the business. When you come in you will always see her smiling face. As a mixed animal practice, we offer a variety of services ranging from herd health all the way to treating

your beloved pets. Walk-ins are welcome, however, they may experience longer waits since patients with appointments will be seen first unless the patient is experiencing a medical emergency. Emergency services are available.

We are excited to share that starting this month, our vet from the Moline clinic will be joining us every other Tuesday mornings! This collaboration allows us to perform a majority of our surgeries in-house, ensuring our pets receive top-notch care right where they belong. We can’t wait to see you and your fur babies! We are now in farm call season. Certain farm calls necessitate multiple staff members. Until we fill our current vacancy, we will experience some unmanned hours. Today our hours of operation will be impacted, and we will be closed from 11-4. On Wednesday, we will be closed from 8-1. However, Moline will be available to receive your call. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team at Flyin’ 3 Veterinary Service in Moline/Cedar Vale, KS. If you are passionate about animal care and have experience in a veterinary setting, we encourage you to apply!

Here's what we're looking for:

Must Haves:
• Must have own transportation, be reliable, able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds. Cattle and equine experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures; perform routine tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment; Answering and scheduling appointments; and provide excellent customer service to clients.

Skills:
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. Computer skills such as typing and navigating computer systems are also required.
