Exciting news, Hexed Hounds family 🤍

The Hexed Hounds now has a small storefront in the Newbo area! It’s a cozy, peaceful space that lets me continue offering the same stress-free, one-on-one grooming experience you and your pups know and love, just with a little extra room.

I’m still appointment-only, and as Christmas approaches, my calendar fills up fast with pups getting their holiday sparkle, so be sure to grab your spot early. You can reach out by text or through Facebook to get scheduled!

Oh, hi. It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update here, how about we change that? ✨

It's been a busy couple months, and I’ve had the absolute joy of meeting so many wonderful new families. Plus getting to see some familiar furry faces from the past, I’ve been having a blast. 🤍🐾

I’ve even gone on a few adventures to Coggon, Lisbon, and Palo! So if my website says you’re out of the service area, don’t be shy, reach out and I’ll let you know if I can make the trip! 🚐💨

And now for the fun part… a big ol’ photo dump of just a handful of the adorable pups I’ve gotten to pamper these past couple of months (at least the ones I remembered to snap pictures of). Can we also talk about how comfortable some get that they actually fall asleep? Be still my heart! 🥹

From floofs to short coats, wigglebutts to snoozers — last week’s pups brought all the charm 🤍🐾

And the accidental theme of the week? Siblings! From bonded pairs to full-blown family packs, I got to pamper some of the sweetest duos (and trios!) who made spa day feel like a family affair. ✨

Whether it was a full glam session or just a little clean up, each pup reminded me why I love doing what I do. Grateful for every wag, snuggle, and face cleaning this week.

This week has been full of family love, and Emmylou, Mollie, and Tex were the perfect trio to keep the theme going! These three sweet siblings each got their own personal spa time — with plenty of extra scritches, suds, and snuggles along the way. ✨

🐾 Just a few of the magical pups I’ve had the joy of pampering lately! 🐾

From tidy trims to full-on spa days, these sweet faces got the Hexed Hounds treatment. 💫 Whether it's a de-shed, ear cleaning, nail smoothing, or just some much-needed TLC, it’s always an honor to spend time with your pups.

(And yes… I definitely forgot to take pictures of a few—turns out it's hard to snap a photo when your hands are full of suds and fluff! 😅)

Big thanks to everyone who trusts me with their four-legged family. I’m so grateful for each tail wag, happy zoomie, and puppy kiss! 🤍

✨ Puppy steps matter 🐾💛

Meet Patrick, a sweet 16-week-old Dachshund/Yorkie mix (a Dorkie?!) who came in this week for his very first grooming session! While Patrick wasn’t quite ready for the full spa treatment just yet, we took it slow with a gentle puppy trim—cleaning up the fur around his eyes, tidying his paws, and making sure hygienic areas were neat. With lots of reassurance and extra time to get comfortable in the tub, we ended on a tail-wagging, treat-filled high note! 🎉

Introducing grooming at a young age (as early as 12 weeks, with age-appropriate vaccines) helps build confidence, trust, and a positive association with the process. It’s not about the perfect haircut—it’s about creating a calm, safe experience they’ll carry with them into adulthood. 🐶🫶
