This is a nice article in the Corridor Business Journal that tells a little more about the proposed business that won the Race for the Space contest. An interesting concept that should be a great addition to Downtown Cedar Rapids! (there's also a little bit about us and our 1st runner up win!) The Race for the Space contest was a "shark tank style" competition and was a joint initiative of Downtown Cedar Rapids and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance. It is intended to support new or expanding businesses looking to establish themselves in the city center. And we are SO STOKED to have their support & the SCORE mentoring in the coming months!
