UPDATE***** Sully has been returned and he is safe. We are still missing Ginny.

Please help us recover these animals that were taken from the barn at Old MacDonald’s Farm on Tuesday, August 10 between 12:30 and 4:00 p.m. We are very concerned for their welfare and safe return (no questions asked). If you saw anything unusual during this time, or have any information about their disappearance, please contact Rob Wagner at 319-286-5799.

Due to lower staffing levels, the hours at Old MacDonald’s Farm will change beginning Sunday, August 1. The farm will be open:
Monday and Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

The duck exhibit will open today at 10 am! All fences have been fixed and the ducks are very happy to be back outside.

The countdown is on until Old MacDonald's Farm opens for the season on Monday, May 10th!

The duck exhibit will not be open on Monday, but will hopefully open soon after.

Please remember to follow all safety protocols when visiting the farm. Masks will be required inside the barn and in areas where social distancing is not possible.

All the animals are excited to see you, especially the precious baby goats!

Old Macdonald's Farm will open for the season on Monday May 10th at 10am!

Hours will be 10am-6pm daily. The farm will be closed every day from 12-12:45pm for deep cleaning and scheduled tours. Please follow all covid-19 guidelines that will be posted at the farm.

If you have a field trip or tour coming to the farm, you must call ahead and schedule a time. Times will be from 9-10am or 12-1pm. If you come without calling, we may not be able to let you in due to new capacity restrictions due to covid-19.

Safe Halloween is THIS Sunday! Every year this event is so much fun! Bring the kiddos and enjoy a new version of trick or treating.

Put on a costume, jump in the car, and drive over to Veterans Memorial Stadium for a new event, “Halloween Drive-Thru,” with safety precautions in place. Assigned one-hour time slots are available from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Advance online registration is required at https://bit.ly/CRPRHalloween. The fee is only $5 per car.

The duck exhibit at Old MacDonald's Farm is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon. We will not have the other farm animals this year because we were not able to receive them in April due to COVID. They are now too big to be socialized. We look forward to bringing them back in 2021.
