Dexter was a wonder but high maintenance bird. I fully support releasing them back into the wild. He just wasnt release quality as his short life proved. But so very rewarding❤

It breaks my heart to tell you all I woke up on Aug 20 2017 and Dexter was dead. Birds die suddenly and out of the blue, robins have a high mortality rate. I thought once he made it past one we were good. I had Dexter for a wonderful 1yr and 2 months. In that time he tried to feed me, killed mice, ate bugs, made friends with parakeets learned his name and had a happy life here in the apt with me. 1 yr and two months that Kane the pit bull gave us! Such a blessing and so worth it. He opened my heart to having a bird again after my fire and loss. Now I have a new baby quaker on the way. Bless Dexters sweet heart! All lives Matter!

There was something mom called a car accident at our corner today. She ran out on the deck with the phone so fast she forgot and left the doors open. she was so scared i flew away but i didnt go out there it's scary!
