Low cost vaccinations and microchips for dogs only, Saturday, July 12th. Please have your dogs on non-retractable leashes and bring cash. These vaccination clinics tend to be very busy, so please try to be patient. Our staff and volunteers will work hard to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

🍼🐱Saturday July 26th - KITTEN SHOWER!🐱🍼
This time of year (May-November) shelters all over the US experience an influx in kittens and pregnant cats resulting in what is known as, Kitten Season. Female cats go into heat more frequently in the spring/summer and can have 3 or more litters (with 4-6 kittens each on average) each year! That really adds up.

This year, while we shower the moms and babies with love, we are looking to get showered with supplies to help us and our life saving fosters care for all these babies!

Please join us on July 26th from 1-4 for some fun games, adoption specials and of course, kitten cuddles! We have an Amazon Wishlist with some of our most needed items or as always, take monetary donations.

‼️EMERGENCY AT CEDAR RAPIDS ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL‼️PLEASE HELP‼️
Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control is out of space for dogs! This means euthanasia for multiple dogs. This gravely affects the staff and the dogs they have loved and cared for. They have pop up kennels in the hallways but that is a temporary fix. They need help! This shelter is sadly lacking on space for the dogs in a city the size of Cedar Rapids. How you can help:
* Consider adopting a dog today. The shelter is open from noon-5pm.
*Become an emergency foster home for a rescue. Contact them and say you want to help a CRACC dog:
