🐾 URGENT FOOD DRIVE REQUEST 🐾

Our animal intakes have been nonstop, and our food storage is struggling to keep up with the demand from so many hungry bellies. Right now, we are in need of dog food and cat food, with only a limited supply remaining.

A 40-pound bag of food may seem like a lot for one household, but imagine sharing it with 100+ dog and cat roommates! Every donation makes a difference and helps ensure the animals in our care have full bellies while they wait for their forever homes.

❤️ When you donate food, it allows us to focus our shelter funds on medical care, vaccinations, treatments, and enrichment for the pets who need us most.

‼ NEWSPAPER NEEDED! 🗞

Our shelter animals are in need of newspapers for their kennels, and our supply is running very low. If you have any clean, neatly folded newspapers that you no longer need, we would greatly appreciate the donation!

Every newspaper helps us keep our kennels clean and comfortable for the pets in our care. So, if you have a stack collecting dust at home, feel free to toss it our way!

Thank you for supporting our shelter friends and helping us provide the best care possible.

🐾 Ringo Starr here with a Wisconsin transport update! 🐾

So far, we’ve raised $250 of our $6,200 goal—which means the bar graph has officially left the starting line…but it’s still got a whole lot of growing to do. 😬

Listen, I’m cute, charming and clearly destined to be a Cheesehead—but I still don’t have thumbs, a driver’s license or enough gas money to get myself to Wisconsin. 🧀🚐

Every donation helps move me and my furry friends closer to the road, closer to Wisconsin and closer to the furever families we’ve been dreaming about.

Help us fill that bar before I’m forced to start selling paw-tographs.

Donate. Share. Get these paws to Wisconsin! 🐶💙

🐾 Adoption Update: Professor Green, now Dakota! 🐾

Patience has been well worth the wait! ❤️

Dakota, formerly known as Professor Green, came to us as a stray on February 6th. After nearly four months in our care, this sweet boy has finally found his forever home and his new best friends.
While we will miss seeing his happy face every day, we couldn't be more excited for him as he begins this new chapter filled with love, adventure, and family. 🏡🐶

Our staff are always thrilled to hear updates from adopters, and we look forward to watching Dakota thrive in his new life. Thank you to his new family for giving him the loving home he deserves!

Happy tails, Dakota! We wish you nothing but happiness on your new adventure. 💚🐾

🐾🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Tri-City Animal Shelter! 🇺🇸🐾

As you celebrate with family and friends, please remember that Independence Day festivities can be stressful and frightening for pets.

To help keep your furry family members safe:

🎆 Keep pets indoors whenever possible during fireworks and celebrations.

📻 Turn on a radio or TV to help muffle loud noises from fireworks and create a calming environment.

🏠 Provide a secure, comfortable space where pets can relax away from the commotion.

🏷️ Check that your pet's microchip information is current and up to date. If a pet becomes frightened and escapes, updated contact information greatly increases the chances of a quick reunion.

❤️ Every year, shelters see an increase in lost pets around the 4th of July. A few simple precautions can make all the difference.

From all of us at Tri-City Animal Shelter, we wish you and your pets a safe, happy, and fun-filled Independence Day! 🎇🐶🐱

🚨 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY’S HELP 🚨

Our shelter is FULL… and with the 4th of July right around the corner, we know what’s coming. Fireworks often lead to frightened pets running away, which means even more animals arriving at our doors in the days ahead.
We cannot do this alone—we need YOU.

Here’s how you can help RIGHT NOW:
🐾 Microchip your pets
This is one of the fastest ways to get lost pets back home where they belong. If your pet isn’t chipped, please make it a priority. Your Tri-City Animal Shelter can microchip your pet, no appointment needed! $25 w/ registration.

🐾 Need help keeping your pet? Call us first
If you are feeling overwhelmed or thinking about surrendering a pet, please reach out BEFORE making that decision. Call Laura or Tammy—we will do everything we can to help you find solutions and keep your pet with your family.

🐾 Consider fostering
We especially need fosters for animals who are candidates for transport to other areas where shelters are not as overcrowded. Fostering saves lives—it creates space and gives these animals a second chance.

Every single action matters right now. Whether it’s sharing this post, fostering, or helping a neighbor keep their pet, you are making a difference.

💙 We are your shelter, and these are our community’s animals. Let’s pull together and get them home
