A huge thank you to all who joined us at Public Houselast night for Steele Magnolia Sanctuary’s Hearts For Horses Fundraiser Dinner! It was a night of delicious food, wonderful music, great company & lots of hugs, love & laughter!🥰🙏💜
Thanks to everyone’s support & generous giving, we surpassed our goal of $8,000, raising $10,892!🙌🙏

As we move into winter, these funds will help us with a much needed horse shelter expansion & hay covering in one of our pastures, vet expenses, fence repairs & Fall/Winter program sponsorships for children & youth in need.🙏🙏

A heartfelt thank you for making our night so special! The dinner was top notch! Thank you to Jess, Tanya, Stephanie & the rest of the wonderful staff for giving of your time & doing everything with such excellence!🙏👏

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” - Psalm 34:18

On this day of remembrance, we pause to honor the lives lost, the families left grieving, and the heroes who stepped forward on and after September 11, 2001.

We believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and loved not just in times of tragedy, but every single day. As we reflect on this day in our nation’s history, we recommit ourselves to being a place of refuge, restoration, and hope.

May we never forget. And may we always choose compassion.

Paul Nielsen - (Paul has been featured several times on the syndicated TV Show, Nashville Unleashed, cuts include songs for Little River Band & Bluegrass group, NuBlu.)

Lisa Hannah - (Songs from Lisa's debut Cd are currently being featured on Women of Substance Radio, she's had several indie artist cuts, including, Whatever You're looking For," recorded by Christian band Southside Drive.)

Ethan Payne - (Ethan is up & coming with appearances that include American Idol, & performances with Luke Bryan.)

Antoinette Oleson & Buddy Farler are no strangers to the Nashville Music Scene, regular appearances include, The Bluebird Cafe, The Commodore & many other Nashville Venues!

Steele Magnolia Sanctuary

Founded by Bob & Julie Scarborough in 2019, Steele Magnolia Sanctuary, 501 (c)(3) provides a permanent refuge for abused and neglected horses and other animals where they can live out their lives enjoying kindness and compassion.

The sanctuary offers a place of peace, healing and hope for horses and humans. Once our horses are restored back to health, they become the healers to children and adults by participating in a variety of non-mounted Therapeutic Equine Assisted Activities. Studies have indicated that therapeutic equine activities have been successful in helping people show marked improvements in the following areas:


  • Assertiveness

  • Emotional awareness
