Ginger is a sweetheart and ready for her forever home. She is 5% Great Dane, however she thinks she is 95% Great Dane! She’s a snuggler and thinks she’s a lap dog. She loves all people & children. Also gets along well with big and small dogs. She’s a well-mannered girl and knows when to be gentle with the littles.

A wonderful tribute to a breed that has been demonized.

America's Dog!! The American Pit Bull and Staffordshire Terrier
Few dog breeds are truly American--dogs that developed alongside this country, serving its citizens and even its country. The American Pit Bull Terrier was the first dog recognized by the United Kennel Club. The UKC is the second-oldest purebred dog registry in the United States. The American Pit Bull Terrier (later recognized by the AKC as the American Staffordshire Terrier) is one of the few American dog breeds. These "bull and terrier" dogs were rugged athletes and loyal family companions. The breed is represented by historical figures such as Stubby, America's first war dog, who served 18 months in combat. He was honored by two presidents, received a gold medal, and was declared a "hero of the highest caliber" for the many times he saved his regiment. He could sense incoming artillery fire before the men did, and he even captured a German spy. Then there was the faithful companion to Helen Keller. And who can forget Pete the Pup of The Little Rascals or Buster Brown? The American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Terrier are part of America's history. They are our dogs, but America has seemingly turned on its faithful hero. We want to remind people just what these dogs have meant to our country and to honor them for their long years of loyal service. And maybe you could take home one of our own AMERICAN DOGS!

PAUL is one of our special rescue pups who’s had a tough start in life. Fear-based aggression made it hard for him to trust, but we knew there was a sweet dog underneath it all - he just needed the right support. I was at the end of my rope, not sure what to do, when Dallin at Quichapa Kennels offered to take Paul. He was scheduled for a four-week training program there, but life had other plans - better plans.
An angel named Lynne stepped forward. Lynne has a heart of gold and a history of rescuing dogs from the darkest of places, including those used in dog fighting. She understands fear, trauma, and the healing power of patience. When she heard Paul's story, she opened her heart and her home. So we made the call to bring Paul home early. He is spending a joyful day playing with his brother, and tomorrow he heads to Las Vegas to be with his new family.
Best part? His brother Ringo lives there too - and Lynne has plans to reunite the Beatle boys.
We're beyond grateful to Lynne for taking in one of our most vulnerable pups and giving him the second chance he deserves. And we're also so thankful to Dani and Dallin atQuichapa Kennels - because even in the short time Paul was with you, we see real growth. Here's to new beginnings, healing hearts, and second chances. 💛

Went out of town to a wedding and brought our 2 trouble makers with us. They behaved so well in the hotel. Everytime we got in the elevator, Desi sat between my feet. It was very cute.
