Laverne and Shirley are just over 4 weeks old and starting to figure out the world around them. Every day brings something new to explore, and todayā€™s adventure was a giant reflective plastic egg.

At first they werenā€™t so sure about it. Lots of cautious steps, a few pauses, and plenty of curious glances. But it didnā€™t take long before their brave little personalities kicked in and they made their way over to check it out.

Watching their confidence grow, even in these tiny moments, is the best part. šŸ’›

At just 2Ā½ weeks old, her eyes are finally opening and it so exciting. Sheā€™s still very much a newborn, so that fluffy Cavapoo face hasnā€™t come in yet, but give her a little timeā€¦ itā€™s coming.

She will be non-shedding, with a soft wavy coat, and Iā€™m guessing expecting that sheā€™ll stay on the smaller side, likely under 10 lbs full grown.

Thereā€™s just something special about this boy.

Uno is the kind of puppy that feels easy from the very beginning. Heā€™s perfectly chunky, confident without being pushy, and completely tuned in to his people. He loves interaction, but heā€™s also happy to entertain himself and settle when things are calm.

Laverne & Shirley are officially one week old today, and they are doing so well. šŸ’•

Theyā€™re both growing steadily and starting to change just a little bit each day, which is always my favorite stage to watch.

Right now, both girls are looking like theyā€™ll have straight to slightly wavy coats. They will be nice and fluffy, non-shedding, and hypoallergenic. Weā€™re expecting both to stay under 10 pounds full grown, with Laverne looking like she may end up being the smaller of the two.

Shirley our deep, solid red girl has already been reserved. Laverne is our little parti/Blenheim girl like her mama, with that, traditional Cavalier coloring, and she is still available.

If youā€™ve been waiting for a smaller Cavapoo, Laverne is definitely one to watch. Puppies this size donā€™t come along very often, and they tend to get scooped up quickly.

Uno is headed out to run a few errands with me today. He takes his job as my little sidekick very seriously.

One of the fun things about a singleton puppy is how naturally they bond with people. Since he hasnā€™t had littermates to roughhouse with, Uno has spent his time shadowing humans instead. Heā€™s learned to be calm, curious, and happy just being part of whatever the day brings.

Heā€™s just as content riding along, watching the world go by, as he is curling up for a nap in your lap. Itā€™s a really special kind of temperament that often comes with singleton puppies.

Running errands with Uno today. These little outings might look simple, but they are an important part of how we raise our puppies.

Early exposure matters. Car rides, new sounds, different places, and meeting people all help a puppy grow into a confident, adaptable dog. We make this a priority in our breeding program because these small experiences early in life shape how a puppy handles the world later on.

Uno has had a unique start. As a singleton puppy, he has grown up without littermates, which means he has received an incredible amount of human interaction from day one. Puppies like Uno tend to be very people focused, comfortable being handled, and often settle easily into family life because they are already used to being the center of attention.

Another benefit of a singleton is that he has never had to compete for food, space, or affection. That often creates a very relaxed, confident personality. Uno is independent enough to entertain himself but also incredibly snuggly and connected to his people.

Weā€™ve officially picked names for our two little girls, and the choice felt obvious almost immediately.

Meet Laverne & Shirley. šŸ’•šŸ¶

If you remember the classic TV show, you know the vibe. Two best friends taking on the world together, getting into a little mischief, and always sticking by each otherā€™s side. Thatā€™s exactly what these two remind us of already.

Little Shirley is already a carbon copy of her daddy, Spud, and she has already been reserved by a very lucky family. Laverne looks just like her mama, Penny, but with beautiful darker red coloring.

These multigenerational Cavapoo sisters are expected to stay under 10 pounds full grown and will have the fluffy, non-shedding coats we love so much.
