Kentucky Fish & Tank Rescue Kentucky’s first fish rescue! Taking in and rehabilitating unwanted aquariums, fish, and reptiles Host of the Mammoth Cave Aquarium Expo

10/08/2025

It's been a while!😁
We have been so busy with our real jobs that it's hard to catch up on posts.

We've still been taking in fish and critters. Mostly having people bring them in to the rescue. Not having time to go out and pick up.

Big shout out to my buddy Big Rich for keeping us in mind when folks have rescues down this way. Yall keep Josh and his baby girl in your prayers. They were in a accident and healing up.

We're also renovating the entire rescue. I'm gonna try and make some cool videos of that process and post them.

Also, haven't done the expo in 2 years now! Sucks! But if I can put the proper amount of time into it we just can't do it right. We'll do it again soon.

Hope all is well with everyone.
Much continued love!

In the begginning...

After my mom passed away I had to move the 55 gal. that I set up for her to enjoy some feeder goldfish that “made it”. They’ve gotten huge! I posted the set up and that’s what started the Kentucky Fish and Tank Rescue! People from all over the country have donated: Equipment, fish, time, money and advice to a cause that is not only a “hobby” but an important part of our overall well-being. Studies find that having an aquarium in your environment has a positive impact on your stress and anxiety levels as well as improves sleeping habits. www.TheKentuckyFishandTankRescue.com
