We help animals in dire situations such as running up and down highways or living in sewer systems. We work in areas that are too dangerous for original TNR programs, such as busy roadways, in neglected parts of the city, or in buildings scheduled to be demolished. We go the extra mile that other people and groups won't. We have years of personal experience with house cats, stray cats, feral cats,

abused & abandoned dogs, small animals, farm animals, and even a lot of volunteer work with wild animals and exotic animals. We are dedicated to bettering the lives of any animal that is unwanted or homeless. Through rescue, rehab, adoption and spay and neuter we strive to lessen the number of animals that suffer from abuse and neglect.We will treat every and any animal as family from the moment it comes in to our care and forever more. Any animal once rescued by us is welcome back any time later in the future, no matter what.

Foster kitty, Doc, is hanging out today with the resident cat, Abby. They’re watching videos of squirrels and birds on YouTube together 😆 We know Abby is super cute snuggled up in her little cubby hole bed, but Doc (left) who is equally as cute, is the cat who is available for adoption 🥰

Adoptable cat, Doc, has been back in Maryland from his brief stent in Colorado for 10 months now… he was adopted and returned (he did nothing wrong, the adopter was severely allergic).

Since then, he has not received even one inquiry 😢 let alone an adoption application …

Adult cats get overlooked all the time for kittens - we get it - they are tiny, playful and adorable 🥰

Poor Doc can’t help that he was born out on the streets of Baltimore City and his kitten stage passed about 5 years ago. He’s a mature gentleman now and is past the stage of climbing curtains, making messes and kitten zoomies - making him a much easier cat to care for.

Today is the day you can literally save a life! TODAY! You have that power right now!

I know that 99% of you have at an extra $20 (or more) in your budget that you can spend on whatever you want. I'm asking each of you to consider donating that $20 (or more) to save the lives of the many cats and kittens that have been failed by humans.

Just skip Starbucks or whatever other non-essentials for a couple of days and donate to Animal Safe Haven and Adoptions, Inc. instead. Animal Safe Haven and Adoptions is a 100% volunteer foster-based organization. ALL proceeds will go to the essential care for the cats - food, medicine, medical care, etc. No one in the organization is paid.

UPDATE: After 5 hours, yes, 5 hours! ☹️ We left not knowing anything. His blood work looked good. Not sure why such a high fever. It was over 106 while we were there! They sent him home with subq fluids to get every 12 hours. Thank goodness for a rescue discount! But we scraped the bottom of the barrel to pay ☹️

This is another reason we ask for your support. Earlier in the week we had Mama Survivor arrive with injuries. Today we are at the emergency vet with Waffles ☹️ He has a very high temp with no other symptoms. This visit won't be cheap, but we do what we have too. He even has an adopter already lined up 😊 Please consider a donation 🤞🏼

We got a call for help on Tuesday. There was a pregnant outdoor cat with injuries. She went to the vet Wed morning. Luckily they are not serious. However, being outside with these wounds could end up being serious. She is on antibiotics & safe INSIDE with ASHA now 😻 Her name is Mama Survivor. Say hi to Momma G - Good Gravy. Her kittens have flown the coop. She's an empty nester at a young age. Now it's time for her to spread her floofy feet and find her own way to a good home. Captain Crunch is still awaiting a forever home. He is approx 4 months old. He loves to play & would do great with a younger cat friend. He is obviously comfortable in his foster home & gets along with the house cats.
