**About Us:**
We are two innovative and dynamic businesses, Paw & Plate and Hill Crest Canine Country Club, that specializes in everything canine (Hill Crest Canine) and in creating fresh farm to table cuisine (Paw & Plate). We are looking for a passionate and creative Event Planner to join our team and help us design and execute unforgettable events that foster collaboration and engagement within our communities.

**Job Description:**
As a Full-Time Event Planner, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating events for both Paw & Plate and Hill Crest Canine. You will work closely with both teams to develop unique concepts, ensure seamless ex*****on, and create memorable experiences for our clients and guests. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and strong interpersonal skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with both businesses to understand their goals and objectives for each event.
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate meetings, workshops, community gatherings, and social occasions.
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best options for each event.
- Coordinate event marketing and promotion strategies to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Manage on-site event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and coordination with staff and vendors.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Planner or in a similar role (3+ years preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of both businesses.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

NEW CLASS ALERT!! Join us on a fun new class "Bistro Behavior Boot Camp". This obedience class focused on teaching manners for dining out can be a fantastic way to ensure both you and your dog have a pleasant experience in public settings.

Class Date: Classes run Wednesday evenings beginning May 7th for 4 weeks.

Duration: 4 weeks

Location: Paw & Plate , 699 Elysburg Road, Danville. Class is held outside and is weather dependent.

Time: 530 to 630pm

What to Bring: a 6 foot leash, treats, a copy of your dog's vaccine records, dog bowl and water, your i.d. and wallet if you care to dine after class with your dog.

Cost: $200 for the 4 weeks. Preregistration is required. To register call us at: 570-259-1107.

Here is a general outline in regards to what the class will cover:

Curriculum Highlights:

1. **Basic Commands Review:**
- Reinforce essential commands such as sit, stay, down, and leave it.
- Focus on responsiveness in a distracting environment.

- Teach your dog to remain calm in crowded spaces.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN LEVEL 1 BEGINNING MAY 5TH FROM 630 TO 730 PM! Join us starting May 5th for our 5 week beginner obedience class. This class focuses on teaching the basics (sit, down, coming when called, loose leash walking, stays etc) along with how to problem solve and fix some problematic behaviors such as barking, jumping up, play biting etc. We use only positive reinenforcement training methods.
