Russell County Fair & Horse Show There are over 40 committee chairmen and nearly 200 volunteers that bring together this annual nine - day event.

The Russell County Fair in Castlewood, Virginia is a non-profit organization that celebrates annually with a particular theme and is careful to include every element of Russell County possible. The Russell County Fair has been voted the best fair in Virginia for 11 of the past 14 years, dating back to 1998.

RUSSELL COUNTY FAIR & HORSESHOW COMMUNITY YARD SALE located on fairgrounds inside the commercial building on Friday July 31st & Saturday August 1st from 8 am - 3 pm both days!

$2 admission will get you entry for BOTH days. You will recieve a ticket 🎟 and entry for prize drawings at the end of each day.

Lunches will be available for purchase during the day at General Store inside the commercial building while supplies last!

EVERYONE who shares this post "PUBLICLY" on their page will be entered into a drawing for a one day pass entry to 2026 Russell County Fair!
