We took a couple hunters out to play at Mid Winter Hunter show last week with great results!

🏆 Othello and were Reserve Champion 3’ Green Hunters with a 🥇🥈🥈🥈 in the division

🏆 Woodlands QT Pie and were Champion USHJA 2’ Hunter with a clean sweep 🧹 of the division!

🥇 Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko made their Short Stirrup debut with some beautiful jumps and a 🥇 in the hack!

We’re looking forward to going back this weekend with some jumpers!

National Western Stock Show started off our 2026 with a bang!

🏆 Imna Mosa and were Champion 1.15m-1.20m Jumper

🏆 Carrighill Spitfire and .riding were Champion 1.10m-1.15m Junior/Amateur Jumper

🏆 Golden Opportunity and were Reserve Champion 3’3” Performance Hunter

Rhythm N Dreams and .trask moved up to the 1.00m jumpers in an intimidating venue and had some beautiful jumps, showing lots of promise for the future!

Summer in the Rockies week 1 was a great start to our summer circuit with !!!

🏆 Sambucco Champion 7 and under young hunters. Top ribbons 3’3” green hunters. And a top 12 finish in the $3500 National Derby.

🏆 Carrighill Spitfire and .riding stepped up to the 1.10m juniors for Reserve Champion!

🏆 Buck A Roo and took Champion in the Pre Adult Equitation with a clean sweep and were Reserve Champion Pre Adult Hunter!

🏆RF Meisterfreiheit and were Champion Opportunity Walk Trot Poles!

🏆 Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko were Reserve Champion Opportunity Walk Trot Poles and had lovely rounds for good ribbons in the WTC Crossrails! QT was also Champion in the USHJA 2’ Hunters with Jennifer.

Hippocampe Batilly and had beautiful trips in the Pre Adult hunters for top prizes, including a class win! Hippo also brought home top ribbons in the 3’3” green division with Jennifer.

Lamaase Van’T Bosveld and continued to develop in the hunters and equitation with top ribbons in the 3’3” AO Hunters 18-35 and a 🥉 in the Ariat Adult Medal.

Imna Mosa and Jacqui Lorenzen had solid trips in the 1.20m Jr/Am Jumpers as they figure out the new height.

Golden Opportunity and Jennifer had beautiful rounds for good ribbons in a large 3’3” performance division and a solid trip in the Derby.

Colorado Spring Finale was a great way to wrap up our 2 weeks !

🏆 .riding and Carrighill Spitfire were on fire! Taking Champion in the 1.00m Jr/Am Jumpers and the win in the 1.05m Jr/Am Jumper Classic!

🏆 Sambucco and were Champion 7 & Under Young Hunter and Reserve Champion 3’3”/3’6”/3’9” Green (3’3” height)! This young horse also took on his first National Derby with braveness and confidence.

🏆 .reece and Davinci stepped into the big Eq ring for the first time with a 🥇 in the ASPCA Maclay,🥉in the USEF Dover, and 4th in WIHS Hunter Phase

🏆 Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko had a fabulous weekend with a Championship in the Opportunity WTC Cross Rails and a Reserve Champion in the Opportunity WT Poles. QT was also Champion USHJA 2’ Hunter with Jennifer.

🏆 and RF Meisterfreiheit braved some tough weather conditions for a Championship in the Opportunity WT Poles.

Imna Miss and Jacqui Lorenzen stepped up a division to the 1.20m Jr/Am Jumpers with solid rounds for ribbons in every class and a solid trip in the 1.25m Classic!

and Lamaze Van’T Bosveld switched to the equitation ring with some lovely trips. They earned some ribbons in the USHJA 3’ hunters as they switched to jumping flowers and then put in solid trips in every class as they figured out the equitation ring, including a 🥉 in the Ariat Medal.

Golden Opportunity and Jennifer had solid rounds for ribbons in the 3’3 performance hunters and a smooth trip in the National Derby.

Congratulations to everyone on a great show! Looking forward to coming back in 2 short weeks to do it again!

Colorado Spring Classic set the bar high as our first show of the CHP season!

Hippocampe Batilly made his 3’3” green debut with with a 🥇🥈🥉and 4th over fences and a successful USHJA National Derby debut finishing 7th out of more than 30 entries!
Hippo and stepped up to the Pre-Adult Hunters with top ribbons as well including a class win!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko were champions in the Opportunity Cross Rails and Reserve Champion in the Opportunity Walk Trot Poles!
QT also won 4 out of 5 classes for champion in the USHJA 2’ Hunters with Jen.

RF Meisterfreiheight and Jen took home champion in the USHJA 2’3” Hunters!
Royce and had beautiful trips in the Opportunity Walk Trot for top ribbons

Imna Mosa and Jacqui Lorenzen kept up their winning ways with another championship in the 1.10m Amateur Jumpers!

Lamaase Van’T Bosveld and had great rounds in the 1.00m Jr/Am Jumpers and finished with 🥈 in the 1.05m Jr/Am Classic!

Sambucco made his US horse show debut with super trips for good ribbons in a tough 3’ green division in some deplorable weather conditions! So proud of this young horse and how he handled less than ideal conditions for his first show. We look forward to great things to come from him!

Golden Opportunity and Jen had solid trips in the 3’3” performance for ribbons amongst a competitive group.

We’re looking forward to next week to do it all again!

Better late than never, but a huge congratulations to our own Golden Opportunity and Jennifer Hulkko on being named CHJA Hunter of the Year for 2024 and winning the Riff Raff Trophy!

“Oakley” was also
CHJA year end champion 3’6” green hunter
USEF Channel 2 Zone 8 3’6” green champion
USEF Channel 1 4th Zone 8 3’6” green hunter

It’s been a pleasure developing this young horse and we’re excited for his continued success in 2025. A huge thank you to and for all your help this past year with Oakley!

🏆Hippocampe Batilly and were 🥇🥇🥈 for Champion in the Low Adult Hunters!

🏆Golden Opportunity and Jennifer swept the 3’3”/3’6” Performance Hunter division for Champion!

🏆Woodlands QT Pie and Jennifer swept the USHJA 2’ Hunter Division for Champion!

🏆Carrighill Spitfire and made their show debut with us and were 🥇🥈🥉 in the 0.90m Jr/Am jumpers for Reserve Champion!

Jennifer also was awarded the Pro Hunter Style of Riding award!!!

We’re so excited to come back in a few weeks and do it all again!!!
