After lots of research I decided on a mobile groom with Woofies. And what an excellent choice it was! Their communication is timely and professional. And Kirsten could not have done a more amazing job! She someone even got my dog to allow her to give her breath spray and a bow in her hair, things my dog typically does not allow! Did you know that pavement can reach 125 degrees in the summer? That’s plenty hot enough to burn paw pads. Here are some tips to keep your pet’s paws safe:

The 5 second test. Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If it’s too hot after 5 seconds, it’s too hot for you pup.

Schedule your walks for early mornings or after sunset.

Stick to grass, dirt paths, or shaded areas wherever possible.

Check paws after walks for redness, cracks or burns.

Add the nourishing paw pad balm to your next mobile grooming appointment!
