HOMEs NEEDED for these Mexico brother and sister
#1 Jenny (red collar) is a 4 yr old 30 # spayed/UTD pit mix, incredibly sweet. She loves belly rubs and snuggles. She has tons of energy and can keep up with your active lifestyle.
Jenny is originally from Mexico. She was taken into a shelter when she followed a volunteer home from their walk. She was flown to Montana and has lived here the past year. The older female dog has taken a dislike to her and vice versa. Jenny gets along great with the two male dogs, but despite all efforts, she and the other female are not safe together.
Jenny loves toys, both stuffed and chew toys. She is very food motivated and very smart. She loves fruits and veggies and it's adorable to watch her crunch a cucumber slice.
Jenny is house trained, but does require a schedule and close supervision to keep her on the pottying straight and narrow. She does walk well on a leash, particularly after the first 5 minutes or so when a bit of her energy has been burned off.
She's never met a person she hasn't liked on sight. She'll be your bestie and give you all the love. She's a great adventure buddy and is up for hiking, swimming, running, long walks in the park.
Jenny is an incredibly joyful little girl. She lives every moment to the fullest and her happiness is infectious!)
She is currently taking low dose trazodone due to the stress of her current home, but most likely would not need it in a better situation.
#2 Charlie(blue collar)is a 60 # 4 yr old neutered/UTD pit mix, he is a darling. He wants to be everyone's friend and will give everyone kisses if he senses they're upset. He will snuggle with you all day long.
He is a little bit lower energy and is fine with a yard and loves walks. He loves chewing and shredding. His very favorite things are durable squeaky toys so he can chew and squeak to his heart's content.
He is potty trained, but does require a schedule and a close eye to keep him on the pottying straight and narrow. He walks well on a leash and lives for sniff walks.
He is originally from Mexico, where he followed a shelter volunteer home and was eventually flown to Montana with his best friend, Jenny. He has lived here for a year, and is loved dearly, but the older male dog has taken a dislike to him and has been bullying Charlie despite all efforts to help them get along. Unfortunately, his current home is no longer safe for Charlie.
He gets along fine with the two female dogs in the house and every person he's ever met. He also generally gets along fine with male dogs, and is definitely a lover, not a fighter.
He is becoming anxious and sad, though, in dealing with the older, larger male's bullying.
Charlie does require ongoing care to keep his allergies under control.
Charlie will chase cats, especially if other dogs are doing so.
