Caseville Small Animal Clinic The Caseville Small Animal Clinic (CSAC) was established in 1984. It started with one doctor and one staff member.

Over the years the clinic has undergone many changes and continually grown. In 1997 there was a major renovation with additions including office space, a new surgery room and a boarding kennel. Our staff and doctors now consist of two veterinarians and eight staff members. Our Mission

As veterinary technician week comes to a close we are taking a moment to celebrate our heroes — Tori, Zoe, Abigail, Kelsey, and Carly! 💙

These five amazing licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of our clinic. Their kindness comforts our patients, their humor keeps us smiling through even the busiest days, and their dedication and hard work make everything we do possible.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without them. They are the glue that holds our team together and the reason so many pets leave here feeling better and loved.

Please join us in thanking them for all they do every single day!

🐾 Tick Alert from CSAC 🐾

The cooler weather may feel great — but it’s also bringing the ticks back out! 🍂 These pesky hitchhikers are still very active in the fall and can spread serious illnesses like Lyme disease to pets (and people, too!).

👉 Be sure to check your pets after they’ve been outside — especially around the face, neck, armpits, and between the toes.
👉 Keep them protected with year-round tick prevention.

Give us a call to make sure your furry family members stay safe and tick-free this season!

UPDATE: This family has found a safe place. Thank you for your shares!

URGENT!!!! These kittens and their mom are in urgent need of a place to go until adoption. The elderly gentleman that took them in is not able to care for them. Their life depends on someone to step up and take them in. Please call John at 989-738-7656 if you are interested in adopting or are able to help.

Operation CatSnip was a success!!

Today our incredible team came together to make a difference for local feral cats in need! 💙 Our staff volunteered their time and talents to spay/neuter, vaccinate, deworm, and provide flea/tick prevention for 32 stray and feral cats from our community.

Efforts like this help reduce unplanned litters, improve the health of community cats, and make a lasting impact for both pets and people. We’re so proud of our team for their compassion and dedication — and grateful to be part of a community that cares!

Dr. Hooper’s dog, Oakley, is able to sit back and relax because she is protected from fleas, ticks AND heartworms for an ENTIRE YEAR with two simple injections!

Oakley’s mom and her veterinarian gave her an injection of Bravecto Quantum for fleas and ticks and a Proheart 12 injection for heartworm prevention. Now Oakley can enjoy a year fully protected and her mom doesn’t have to worry about forgetting a dose of monthly prevention.

Call us today to discuss injectable protection for your dog!

The answer: 74 stones

This sweetie had surgery to remove her stones and is feeling much better now!

This girl came in to see Dr. Hooper because she was behaving like she had a urinary tract infection. Her owner noticed her squatting frequently and her urine smelled strong. An exam, urine test with ultrasound revealed that her bladder was full of stones AND that she had a bladder infection. This case is a great example of why we always recommend an exam before dispensing antibiotics for an infection.

Let’s have some fun!!
Can you guess how many bladder stones are in this dog’s bladder?

The staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic will be hosting a low cost TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program for feral cats, living in Huron County, on Sunday, October 5th. THIS IS NOT FOR INSIDE PETS!!

The cost will be $50 (CASH ONLY) per cat (male or female). All cats will be tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and if they test negative, will be spayed or neutered, the tip of their left ear will be removed for visual reference of being fixed. They will also be given a Rabies vaccine, dewormed, and treated with a topical flea medication. We are able to perform these services at this price due to a combination of the staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic donating their time (volunteering) and through generous donations of cat lovers wanting to help! We will be accepting a maximum of 30 cats.

If you are interested in having a cat(s) spayed or neutered we will have you come to the clinic in person, prepay (CASH ONLY), and sign a waiver before October 3rd. This will reserve your spot. Once 30 cats are signed up, we will be adding names to a wait list. The cats will be admitted on the morning of Sunday, October 5th and will be discharged the same day in the afternoon.

Since starting this program in the fall of 2020 we have helped prevent thousands of unwanted kittens from being born. If you do not have any need to participate in the program, but would like to help we are accepting monetary donations to allow us to continue to offer this event in the future.

Please call the Caseville Small Animal Clinic at 989-856-3525 if you have any questions.
