𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
🐶 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴’𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 – We do our best to feed on your schedule. Keeping their food consistent helps prevent upset tummies while they’re away from home. (Bonus points if it’s pre-bagged by meal — we LOVE that! 😉)
🦮 𝗔 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵 – For safely bringing your dog in and out of our office.
📋 𝗩𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 – Your dog must be up to date on the following vaccinations (required by the State of Iowa and our facility):
• Rabies
• DHLPP (Distemper-PARVO)
• Bordetella (kennel cough)
Bring a printed copy or have your vet send them over before drop-off. If we need to call to retrieve them, a $5 service fee applies.
💊 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗶𝗳 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲) – Bring any daily meds your dog needs. If they’re due for flea/tick prevention during their stay, just send it along — we’re happy to help.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀:
🛏️ 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗱 – We want your pup as cozy as possible!
🧸 𝗧𝗼𝘆𝘀 – Safe, durable toys only, please! Think Nylabone, Kong, knuckle bones, etc. Toys are only given during kennel downtime, so nothing that can be easily destroyed or become a choking hazard.
🍖 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 – We’ve got plenty here, but if your dog has favorites, feel free to send some along!

🎉 Congratulations to Kate and Cal for receiving the very first PAWSitive Impact Award at John Deere! Cal has earned his title as the most popular “employee” at Dubuque Works. 🐶💼

Cal completed his Residency Training at Stone Hollow a few years ago, and since then, he and Kate have been unstoppable. Together, they visit local hospitals, nursing homes, and John Deere, bringing smiles and support wherever they go. (And when he’s not working, Cal’s out duck hunting like a champ! 🦆💪)

They’re a dynamic duo who never stop growing — you’ll often spot them at our group classes, keeping their skills sharp and spirits high.

Way to go, Kate and Cal! We’re so proud of the work you do and the impact you’re making in the community. Keep it up! ❤️🐾

What a weekend!
From what we hope was the storm of the summer, to losing power for 30 hours — it was one for the books!

Thankfully, the dogs didn’t have a clue anything even happened, thanks to McAllister Electrical Services. They were out here right away, hooked up the generator, and made sure we stayed up and running without missing a beat.

We are so grateful for McAllister’s — they’re knowledgeable, equipped, and incredibly helpful. What could’ve been a disaster turned into a manageable (and even comfortable) wait for the power to come back on.

Thank you, McAllister Electric! You made all the difference.
