Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What can I expect from the consultation and first session?
During the consultation, I’ll ask about the specific behavioral concerns with your pup, as well as their general demeanor and any previous training they’ve had, whether professional or personal.
During the first session, most of the time will be spent with me observing your pup and their behavior, in addition to how you interact with them and have been attempting to correct the behavior. I will speak with you extensively about key interactions and how dog psychology and body language plays into their behavior and how we will correct that behavior. I will also make my recommendations for frequency and duration of training.
2. Are there any breeds or sizes that you don’t work with?
Nope! I will work with any breed, age, or size of pup. The key is that I work on a case-by-case basis. While I have extensive experience and comfortability with all kinds of dogs, I am knowledgeable enough to know when a case is out of my scope of expertise. I don’t specialize in biting or excessive reactive aggression. I will be able to determine if your case is out of my scope either in the consultation or at the reduced-price first session.
3. What days and times are you available?
I’m available in the evenings on weekdays and afternoons/evenings on the weekends. I work a full-time day job with semi-flexible hours, so I have the opportunity to work around your schedule to an extent. We will work out session days and times during the consultation and initial session.
4. What is the best way to contact you?
Through Facebook messenger or my business email, [email protected] I may ask you to send me photos or videos of your pup and their problem behavior, if I do, sending them through email will be the preferred method due to Facebook’s compression and size limitations on files.
