Step back in time and connect to the earth at our MLK Day of Service event on Monday, January 20. Our historic teaching farm needs your help to regenerate our soil!🌿🌱🫛
Our property has a rich history of family farming dating back to 1910. As to***co was the main cash crop for over 100 years, we’ve spent the last 8 years focusing on adding organic matter back into the land to create a thriving organic ecosystem in our soil.
Why is this important? Because good dirt grows good food! And our farmers have harvested approximately 200,000 pounds of produce thanks to our regenerative agricultural tactics!

Fun Farm Fact: Ever hear the saying, "A good winter with snow makes all the plants grow?" Nitrogen attaches to❄️as the snow falls through the atmosphere. Nitrogen is slowly released into the soil as the snow melts, providing a gentle fertilizer boost for plants.
