Happy Friday everyone!

We will be doing tech visits again this week on Tuesday and Thursday. We can do these visits as a house calls or in office visit. We can run blood work, do nail trims and a**l gland expressions, and administer select vaccines and injections.

Had to share this one today!

Hey there!

We will be closed tomorrow (7/3) for the upcoming holiday weekend! We will be back in the office on Monday (7/6) and will return messages at that time.

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and safely celebrates the 4th. Since this tends to be a stressful holiday for pets, we wanted to share some information to help keep your pets safe.

Fourth of July is just around the corner and for a lot of pets, it's the most stressful night of the year. 🎆

Fireworks are one of the leading causes of lost pets in the U.S., with shelters reporting a spike in runaways every July 4 and 5. Even the calmest dogs and cats can panic when unexpected explosions hit.

The good news: a little prep goes a long way. Start by keeping pets indoors during displays and making sure ID tags and microchip information are current.

Just a few reminders for this upcoming week!

We are packing up for our annual Volunteer Spay and Neuter Beach trip with Friends of Feline - Cape Hatteras Island!

Dr. Marty and Dr. Jackie will both be at the clinic providing care to the feral cats. Dr. Laura will be here at the clinic holding down the fort. We will have office staff through out the week as usual, but there will be limited doctor availability this week, so we appreciate your patience with replies on questions for our doctors.

During this week we will also be providing tech appointments in our office and as house calls! These will take place on Thursday and Friday. On these days, our technicians will be able to draw blood work, do nail trims and a**l gland expressions, and administer select injections and vaccines. Our doctor appointments are filling up fast so these are a great alternative to get on the schedule sooner! Please feel free to reach out to our office if you would like to schedule a technician appointment or inquire about these services.
