These are the pellet foods that I feed my fish. I do think pellets have a place as part of a complete & balanced diet when used in conjunction with frozen foods, but choosing a high quality pellet is important. I’m a strong believer that variety is best so I mix a couple of different types.

Oregon Blue Tort - As someone who runs a heavily white light spectrum, this one is a favorite. This coral glows under whites the way many others do under blues. I’ve attempted it a few times over the years but lost it before growing it out to colony size. Slow grower for sure, but this one is well on its way, my most successful attempt yet.

Following up from last week’s reel about how I have my auto top off set up… Here are some examples of how I use Apex programming to alert me of a stuck or failed float switch. My first line of defense is designing a system which can withstand issues such as these without my intervention, but nearly as important is ensuring that I am alerted if any issues do occur.
