The Vito Game is a wonderful confidence-building exercise that teaches dogs to problem-solve, think independently, and work comfortably at a distance from their handler. Stewie has always been a naturally strong distance-working dog through activities such as agility and gamblers, so I never formally taught him this game. In this video, we are demonstrating how to introduce and teach the game, and it was especially fun to watch him enthusiastically offer behaviors he learned as a puppy!

Here’s a look inside one of our sessions with the talented Mr. Puck. Both of the exercises were new to him🤩. After my sessions, there’s a LOT more happening: Analyzing and editing the video for the student (you will discover things, especially in slow motion), writing the program, which includes explanations, multiple videos, pictures and recommendations/tips. It’s not a one and done. Every dog and handler is different, so the plan is very personalized and unique. I take pride in paying attention to the little (important) details, even if it means spending extra hours after the student leaves. I make sure that the owner doesn't have any questions about the exercises, and they are welcome to send me videos for review anytime. We love it! 🩵🐾💜
