On this Memorial Day, The Seeing Eye honors all military personnel who have served for the United States. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Hello, my name is Cynthia Bryant, and 16 years ago I went to The Seeing Eye to be matched with my first Seeing Eye dog, a black Labrador/golden retriever cross named Royale. Today I am the first graduate of The Seeing Eye to serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees. This photo shows me standing next to my current Seeing Eye dog, Summer, a Labrador/golden retriever cross. We were on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and behind us is the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art.

Every partnership at The Seeing Eye, including mine, begins with love. The love I have for Summer and the love she has for me are the foundation of our partnership. Together, we can do anything. Our story is just one of the thousands that have been written by The Seeing Eye, and more are written every time a new student picks up a harness handle and says, “Forward,” just as I did 16 years ago.

At the start of 2024, we encountered a significant challenge when this page was compromised. Despite regaining control swiftly with the invaluable assistance of colleagues, the incident resulted in several restrictions imposed by Facebook. These limitations have hindered our ability to engage with you and expand our presence.

The Ultimate Slumber Party!

"I can tell that Toby's ready to go off. There's not much more that I can teach him to do. Of course, it's sad because he's a very cute and sweet dog, but it's exciting to see him do something that he's really meant for," explains one of our younger puppy raisers.
