Second round of weaning is underway!

It’s always a bittersweet time around the ranch. These babies have been handled, loved on, and watched over since the day they were born. Now they’re taking the next step toward becoming the kind of horses we strive to raise—confident, independent, and ready for their future adventures.

Thankfully, because they’ve been handled from day one, the transition is usually much easier on both the babies and us. They may be growing up, but they’ll always be our babies.

We can’t wait to watch this group continue to grow and do great things with their new owners. ❤️

They come into this world fluffy and fuzzy, then hit that awkward shedding stage, followed by the sun-bleached summer look. Through every stage, this c**t has remained my favorite pick of the year.

Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he’s also the complete package—EE DD and panel negative.

The hair coat may change with the seasons, but his quality never does. 🔥🐴

Can we all agree that the shedding stage is the awkward teenage phase of the horse world? 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

One minute they’re fluffy little teddy bears, and the next they’re half winter coat, half summer coat, with hair sticking out every direction imaginable.

Thankfully, underneath all that fuzz are some pretty nice babies! ❤️

Today was a tough one, but also such a blessing. I have cried, laughed, and hugged my Amy girl a whole bunch before she loaded on the trailer to leave for her new home in Maryland. 💔❤️

We are so blessed that Amy is going to the absolute BEST home with someone who is going to love her just like we do. That’s all we can ever ask for when these special ones leave here.

It’s hard to believe it was a year ago yesterday that we said goodbye to our Jackie girl. Time sure has a way of healing hearts, and while letting them go is never easy, it sure helps knowing they have found such incredible homes.

These horses may leave our place, but they will always leave a hoofprint on our hearts. 🖤
