This sweet hen named Sapphire came to see us after suffering a leg injury. Chickens are curious and active, which means accidents can happen.

If your chicken is limping, reluctant to bear weight, or holding a leg in an unusual position, it’s a good idea to have them examined. Early evaluation and treatment can help improve comfort and the chances of a full recovery. 🩺🐓

🐾 Meet the faces behind the care at Baker Veterinary Services!

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where I earned a degree from the School of Agriculture with a concentration in Ag. Engineering. (Started off Animal Science!)

For the past 16 years, I have been a Park Ranger, where my passion for helping people, caring for the natural resources, providing outdoor experiences and building lasting relationships has been my passion.

On my days off I help at Baker Vet Services by managing their social media, answering phones, processing clients, assisting with your furbabies’ care and even tackling the occasional IT challenge to help keep the clinic running smoothly.

When I am free my past times include mountain biking, kayaking, cooking, time with family, reading, raising quail, volunteering in the community and visiting dog parks with her miniature schnauzer, Ivy. (More to come about her!)

I celebrate the happy moments and empathize the heartbreak during difficult times with clients. I’m proud to be part of Baker Vet Services, a women owned business that makes a difference for animals and their families in middle Tennessee.
