At Garden Hill Farm we grow specialty cut flowers and delicious, healthy vegetables using environmentally sustainable farming methods. We sell through our CSA, at farmers' markets, at our farm stand and to the Carthage school district. We started the CSA last year and loved it! It was a lot of fun and there will be more information coming soon regarding this year's CSA.

Beautiful day today- nice to see the landscape all snowy. Not a typical north country winter, hope everyone is well and enjoying these mild temps. So what is the farm up to? Busy planning and ordering seeds, supplies and equipment, going to farming conferences and having fun taking care of 25 very charming chickens.

Last market of the season tomorrow at the Fairgrounds. Still have carrots, beets, cabbage, red, blue and French Fingerling potatoes, big leeks- 1 # or more, onions, kale and more! Also eggs from my happy chickens... colorful, some are a pretty bluish green!

It was cold this morning. We did get a freeze. Last night we rushed to pick as much as possible and cover all we could get to. So sad when it is all gone... but it is October I guess and the garden needs a rest.

Will miss seeing everyone at the Wednesday's farmers' market. Thank you for all your support this year! It is always a lot of fun being there! Will continue going to Saturday's market at the Fairgrounds. This market runs until Oct 29th. Still lots of delicious local food available!
