Just a friendly reminder to all pet owners, fireworks scare dogs. Bring them inside. Get anti anxiety meds from your vet and be responsible for their safety. You should make sure they have collars on with current information so if they do get out they can be found. Have a collar but no tags? You can put a piece of masking tape on their collar with your contact info. Fireworks are coming so let's help make sure that your babies can be reunited with you in case they get scared and manage to get out. 🐶❤️

CLARIFICATION: We need the Carthage & Panola community to understand that only adopters & rescues can save animals - we can't. We simply post & share the dogs & cats posted by the Carthage Panola Pound, hoping & praying that an adopter or rescue will step up to save them before their 5 day hold ends. Because at that point, they are living day-to-day & can be euthanized anytime, based upon the CPP contract awarded to Dean Yates by the City of Carthage & Panola County.
