Why Achnacarry Stables summer camps continue to impress and inspire our wonderful campers!

What to expect:

•Daily horseback riding lessons

•Hands-on horse care & grooming

•Fun games, crafts, and trail rides

•Confidence-building and teamwork

•Small groups and personalized instruction

Join us for six fun weeks of camps this summer!

Beginner/Intermediate camp dates:
June 16th-19th, June 23rd-26th, July 14th-17th, July 28th-31st. Camp days run from 8am-1pm

Advanced Camp dates: July 7th-10th, August 11th-14th. Camp days run from 8am-2pm

Buckhorn show update 🎉

Addy and Airy placed 3rd in their first GAG CT together and had a beautiful dressage test and a clear show jump round 👏

Shannon and Sammy stepped back into the show ring and were 2nd with a 30 in the BN CT! 🎉

Hattie came out to do her first horse show since arriving at the farm and scored a 34 in her BN dressage test, one silly rail knocked us out of the ribbons 🤪 but thrilled with how well she handled herself the entire day!

Achnacarry Stables

We are thrilled to announce our new location off of 15-501 in Carthage, offering an exceptional facility for riders of all levels to thrive. Achnacarry Stables provides a comprehensive and supportive environment for both horses and riders. Our features include:

* Dressage Court
* Jump Field
* Round Pen
* On-Site Trails
* 8-Stall Main Barn with a private boarder tack room
* 12x12 Stalls
* Indoor Wash Stall with heat lamps
* Barn Bathroom
* Semi-Private Turnouts in beautifully maintained flat fields
* Rehabilitation Turnout Available

Coming Soon: Bank and Ditch Complexes, and Jump 4 Joy Cross-Country Jumps

Full Care Board - $1200/month

Our standard care includes everything your horse needs to stay healthy and happy:

* Grain 2-3x daily
* Orchard Timothy Hay
* Semi-private turnout
* Alfalfa pellets or beet pulp, electrolytes, and probiotics
* One weekly lesson or training ride

Partial Training Board - $1450/month

Includes all of the above with 3 lessons/training rides weekly.

Full Training Board - $1650/month

Includes all of the above with 5-6 lessons/training rides weekly.

We’re thrilled to announce that Achnacarry Stables is moving to a bigger and better facility, still inside the Moore County area! Starting February 1st, we’ll be settling into our new space—perfect for all your horse training needs. Plus, we’ll have room for new clients!
