Etowah Valley Humane Society

Etowah Valley Humane Society Where best friends meet... The Etowah Valley Humane Society (EVHS) began in 1996, as an adoption outlet for Bartow County Animal Control.

In October of 2006, EVHS opened the doors of the new Shelter located at: 36 Ladds Mountain Road, in Cartersville, Georgia. EVHS is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Georgia. EVHS derives operating funds primarily from adoption fees, donations, membership fees, and fundraising events. Though EVHS has a paid staff, we rely heavily on the

efforts of volunteers. The business and affairs of the Society are managed by a Board of Directors, the members of which serve without compensation.

Day 31 of the 31 Days of Giving: Donate! 🎁🐾

As we wrap up the 31 Days of Giving, here’s your chance to make a lasting impact. All donations are tax-deductible, so it’s the perfect time to give before the year ends! Whether it’s pet food, toys, supplies, or monetary gifts, your generosity helps us care for animals in need. ❤️

🐾 How to Donate:
Stop by and drop off your donation to one of our friendly staff members. We’d love to thank you in person and share how your gift will make a difference.

💡 Remember, donations made before January 1, 2025, count for this year’s tax deductions.

Together, we rely on the kindness and benevolence of our community to keep our mission alive. Let’s make this final day of giving one to remember! 🐕🐾

Day 30 of the 31 Days of Giving: Teach a Pet New Tricks! 🐾✨

Unleash your inner trainer and spend the day teaching a pet some fun new tricks! Whether it’s “sit,” “shake,” or even a high-five, it’s a great way to bond, stimulate their minds, and boost their confidence. Don’t forget the treats—positive reinforcement makes learning even more fun! 🦴

🎥 Take a quick video of their progress and share it with friends, family, or on social media. If the pet is looking for a forever home, showcasing their new skills might help them get adopted. Who can resist a dog that can roll over or a cat that gives a paw? Volunteer ://etowahvalleyhumane.org/how-you-can-help/volunteer/

Let’s give these lovable companions the spotlight they deserve! 🐕🐾💖
