Another unforgettable summer at Franktown Meadows!

For over 15 years, our Kids & Horses program has been a place where children discover the joy of horses—and this year was no exception. Watching nearly 40 kids embrace barn adventures, hands-on learning, and new friendships made it one of our best summers yet.

Auditors Welcome! Join Us at Franktown Meadows! 🐴✨

Stop by this Wednesday (2 PM - 5 PM) and Thursday (8 AM - 4 PM) for a Bit Fitting Clinic with Kim Gentry from Bits N Such. This clinic, hosted by SNC-CDS, is free for auditors.

Participants come mounted—Kim will measure the horse’s mouth, evaluate its shape and overall anatomy, and watch the horse go under saddle. Together, you'll test different bits to find the most comfortable fit. The goal is to identify the bit that the horse is happiest and most at ease in, with clear demonstrations of comfort.

Come learn and observe!

Congratulations to all our academy and training students who competed at the Double Dip Horse Show, hosted by Pair of Aces and AJA Equine!

🌟 Olivia & Rainbow’s End dominated the Walk-Trot Division, making a clean sweep—we can’t wait to see them tackle crossrails next!

🏆 Hunter Team Challenge Highlights:
* Britt, KK, and Caylin took the Overall Championship
* Sterling secured 3rd place.
* MacLean rounded out the standings in 5th.

Great riding from everyone, and thank you to Liz, Annelise, and the entire SNHSA community for making such a fun horse show!

We are so excited to kick off our first summer session of Kids & Horses Horsemanship Programming with an awesome group of older kids!

Watching them build confidence, learn new skills, and bond with some of our favorite ponies is what makes this program so special. Stay tuned for updates (and maybe a few horse selfies 😉).
