In case you missed his story.. We've had Timber since he was abandoned at 3 month old, at a grooming shop. The breeders did not want him because his hind end never developed. We took him in, had several surgeries, and he's living his best life here at Dog Town.

Last Sunday, Timber had stopped eating, and, he was urinating almost straight blood.
We took him to Blue Pearl in Reno, where he was admitted to the ER. His bladder was badly infected, and had started to move up to his kidneys. They were able to save his life, and get him back to us, where he's still receiving antibiotics.

One day in ER and three days in ICU really took a toll on our finances. It cost us $10,000 to save Timber's life, so we are asking for donations in any amount you can give.

He continues to improve, as we are trying to pay for his emergency medical care.

Madison started out here 13 years ago after we rescued her. It is with much sadess that we share the passing of her person a couple of weeks ago,
She had shared a home with two other dogs over the years, and basically ignores them.

Her person took the best care of her, and we're looking for a home with patience for the old ones. Another thing for you to consider is the cost of veterinary care.
Being an old lady, she may have vet visits for conditions related to old age.
Madison like everyone, but isn't going to jump in anyone's lap
Again, patience and realistic expectations are important when adopting, especially an elderly dog. Thanks!

We got Dakota after her person passed away unexpectedly. She's adjusting well, but would much rather be back in a home than hang out at the kennels.
She's good with other dogs, came to us with adopted sister Madison.
Dakota is three years old, personable, and has an outgoing personality.
