Last year, Animal Services responded to 536 calls about pets left in hot cars — and we’re already getting them this season! At just 75°F outside, your car can reach 99°F in 10 minutes. In 30 minutes, your car can reach 109°F. 🚗☠️
Leave them home. Heading out to run a quick errand with your pet is never worth the risk.
If you see an animal in a hot car: 📞 Call 322-DOGS (3647)
📍 Report the location, car/animal description, and license plate
📣 Ask nearby businesses to make an announcement
