Friends, Ben is for adoption again. His current family can't keep him due to family changes they're experiencing. I can't take him back home since we've sold the farm and are renting. They're asking $500. He's about 17 now and still as good as ever. This is a pic they sent as an update, and you can see him all over my albums from the 7 years I had him in lessons. He'd be coming home if I could. If someone wants him badly enough, I'll cover the $500. Let me know and tell your friends about him. He's a good horse, ex mounted patrol in Virginia Beach, 7 years here in lessons with children and adults, good on trails. Sweet, sweet, sweet.

Having trouble deciding what to do about pony saddling. She is nearly as round as she is tall. 12h with fairly short back. My 15" western covers her entire back, so that's not good. I have to be able to work her and barebacked isn't always how I want to ride. Pondering a 13" Western or a 15" English but I have to fit too. Hmmmmm

All ok around the farm. Horses were in through storm and back out now. High and dry ground except for front corner near neighbor where we get our storm pond. No trees down or anything. Thankful!

Fall riding lessons will start the first weekend after Labor Day [September 5 and 6]. Sign ups are going on now. Private lessons available for $35 per 45 minute session. Pony/ground lessons available for $25/half hour. Boarding available: $150 pasture board. $300 full board.
