My name is Lisa, and my life has always revolved around rescuing dogs. It's more than a passion; it's truly a "barking good time" helping pups in need. Our home is currently filled with four incredible rescue dogs; each with their own unique story, that led them to us. What truly ignited this dream was a 12 week old pup who was abandoned in front of the restaurant where I worked at in Louisville on Whiskey Row. That's when Whiskey Lou's Doggie Daycare got started.

Hot days = tails still wagging! 🐾☀️ Cooling off with a cozy nap and a milk bone treat. Because even on the warmest days, the tails keep wagging and friendships keep growing! 🐶💛

🥵 It’s way too hot for those little paws! 🐾
Due to the high heat index today, the pups will have limited time outside. Their safety is always my #1 priority! ❤️🐶

The pups enjoyed playtime from 7:00 AM–11:00 AM, and now they’re cooling down and getting ready for a nice, well-deserved nap. 😴🐾

Please remember: If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them! ☀️

💧 Keep them hydrated
🌳 Provide plenty of shade
🐾 Limit walks to 10–15 minutes
🔥 Avoid hot pavement whenever possible

Stay safe and keep those precious paws cool! 🐶❤️🐾

☀️🐾 Super hot day for the pups! We got our run in nice and early, then enjoyed some cool, cozy naps and plenty of pool time to beat the heat. 💦😴🐶 Staying cool and tails wagging!
