✨GREAT NEWS!!!! Ms. Deidra wanted everyone to know that her husband's surgery went very well and he is home resting and recovering!! Thank you to everyone who has kept them close to their hearts during this difficult time️✨️

At All About Animals, we don’t just talk about pets—we care about the people who love them, too. Today, we’re asking for prayers for one of our own.

Our wonderful team member Deidra is by her husband’s side as he undergoes a major surgery. While we miss her at the clinic, we know there’s no place more important for her to be right now. We want her to feel the love and support of her work family and our amazing community during this difficult time.

Please join us in keeping them in your thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead. Deidra, we are all here for you! 💙

Our Certified Assistant, Natalie, wanted to showcase our growing Gus. She has assisted with his puppy vaccinations each time. Here is Gus at 6 weeks, 9 weeks, 12 weeks, and 15 weeks. Isn’t he a beauty?! 😁

Did you know that vaccinations are given every three weeks during the puppy/kitten series? This schedule helps build immunity and protects them from diseases.

🐾 5 Dog Training Tips for Happy Pups! 🐾

Training your dog doesn’t have to be ruff! 🐶 Here are some simple tips to help your furry friend learn and thrive:

1️⃣ Start Early: Puppies are eager to learn! Begin with basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "come."
2️⃣ Use Positive Reinforcement: Reward good behavior with treats, praise, or playtime. 🦴
3️⃣ Be Consistent: Use the same commands and rewards every time. Dogs thrive on routine!
4️⃣ Keep Sessions Short: 10–15 minutes a day is perfect—keep it fun and engaging!
5️⃣ Be Patient: Every dog learns at their own pace. Celebrate small wins! 🎉

✨ Training strengthens the bond between you and your dog while keeping them safe and well-behaved. You've got this! 🐕❤️

If you have the ability to safely foster during this cold weather, please give our local shelter a call.

If you have the ability to safely foster during this cold weather, please give our local shelter a call.

🚨URGENT: OUR PUPS NEED YOUR HELP🚨

❄️ Frigid temperatures are expected next week, and we need your help to give our dogs a warm, safe place to stay during this cold snap.

🐾 Why this matters:
Cold weather leads to fewer adoptions and more intakes, leaving our shelter overcrowded and unable to keep every dog inside where it’s warm.

❤️ Why foster?
* It’s temporary! Even a few days in a loving home can make a world of difference.

* You’ll give a dog the chance to experience warmth and comfort—possibly for the first time in their life.

* Even short-term fostering increases a dog’s chances of being adopted!

✨The shelter provides all food and supplies, so all you need to do is open your heart and home✨

📞 Contact us today at 770-214-3590 to learn more and become a true foster hero. Thank you for helping us save lives!

We got to see Deputy Hill and his sidekick, Max!
Max is trained to detect narcotics. Did you know that a dog can smell up to 10,000 times better than humans? They can also smell as far as 12.4 miles away. Wow!!
We appreciate your service, Max and Deputy Hill!

As we step into the New Year, it’s a great time to set some goals to make life even better for our furry friends. Here are some pawsitive ideas to consider:

Start by swapping store-bought treats for healthier homemade options—your pets will love the extra care! Don’t forget to schedule regular vet visits to keep their health on track throughout the year.

Make time for more play and bonding, whether through longer walks, fun games, or simply extra cuddle sessions. Consider setting training goals to teach new tricks or reinforce basic commands, keeping their minds active and sharp.

And why not plan more adventures together? From hikes and dog parks to pet-friendly cafés, there are so many ways to create lasting memories.

Let’s make 2025 the best year yet for our furry companions! 🐾❤️
