🚨 Carrollton, Ohio! 🚨

Henry wants to know… is anyone interested in helping trap community cats and make a difference in Carrollton? 🐾

We currently have someone interested and are looking for more individuals to partner with her. Training and quality traps will be provided. Volunteers are always needed for trapping, transporting, and helping colonies in this area.

If you’ve ever wanted to help cats in this village, now is the time! Whether you’re experienced or willing to learn, your help matters. 🐱

😿❤️😿ORPHAN KITTENS😿❤️😿

We open on June 1st, but these sweet kitties couldn’t wait. Their feral mom, who was obviously a good mom based on their condition, sadly passed away last night. 😿 They are now being cared for by one of our directors at her home and will be available for adoption at the CCAPL shelter in 6-8 weeks.

We are thankful for the wonderful couple who tried to befriend the mom, fed her so she could feed her babies, and gave her a safe space to care for them. They took immediate action after the mom passed unexpectedly overnight to give the kittens a chance at a good life. ❤️

Situations like this are why we need your help with food, supplies, and fostering. You can order supplies from our Amazon and Chewy wishlists through the links on our website to help with these babies and those who will come in the near future! See link in the first comment.

Thank you for your support!

Does anyone recognize this sweet dog? She was found this evening by a good samaritan on Arrow Road near Snode’s Barn. She went to several houses trying to find the owner. The dog is now safe at the Carroll County Dog Pound.

Another part of my mission is breaking the barriers that keep people from getting their animals spayed and neutered — and the biggest barriers are often cost 💲 and transportation 🚗.

To help address that need, AlterClinic Animal Care comes every other month to the Discount Drug Mart in Minerva to transport animals to and from their clinic for spay/neuter appointments 🐾✂️.

There are also several subsidies available:

Thanks to a grant from the Minerva Community Charitable Fund:

• If you live in the Minerva School District, indoor cats 🐱 can be spayed/neutered, vaccinated 💉, and transported for just $50.
• Outdoor/community cats 🐈 can be TNR’d for $25.

• If you live in Carroll County, the Carroll County Animal Protection League offers Carroll County residents a $35 subsidy 💵 towards spay and neuter services.

Making spay and neuter accessible helps keep pets healthier ❤️, reduces shelter intake 🏡, and prevents unwanted litters in our community.

Dogs are welcome in the transport but receive no subsidy. See link in comments for pricing.
