HELP!
We are looking for a person who wants to assist with training horses.
We want someone who has a passion for training horses. Enjoys working with them and watching them learn and grow. Hopefully this will be a long term relationship and the more you want to learn, the more we’ll share.
You’ll be training all types of horses and a wide range of ages and abilities. Ponies to drafts, and mustangs to pure performance lines. Eventually you’ll ideally train all the horses that come on the property whether they are ours or clients. Hours are flexible and negotiable as long as the horses are reasonably progressing.
This is not a way to get free horse rides, this will be work. You will have tasks and deadlines and the horses will all be assessed for progress.
This position will primarily be at our place on the west side of Carpenter.

Age 18+
Honesty

Reliability and timeliness
Detail oriented
Physical ability to train horsemanship on the ground and from the saddle.
Willingness to learn standards given and apply them.
Good communication skills.
Dependable transportation.
Pass a background check and drug test.
Will train the right candidate.
You will be expected to work year round in Wyoming weather as we do.
Maintain safety in all you do.
Bonus skills might include:
Experience in training horsemanship
Ability to show/sell horses
Ability to tow and back different types of trailers
Willingness to assist with facility maintenance
Farrier skills
Pay is DOE.
Compensation styles are negotiable.
