Even in a world full of darkness, a light can shine bright—and even within that light, a shadow can still linger.

Today, we were expecting six beautiful puppies to arrive into this world, but the Lord had other plans. One little soul didn’t make it. This was our first loss, and our hearts are heavy. Every dog deserves a name—so we’ve named him Deene.

Though it hasn’t been easy to process, we remain incredibly grateful for the five healthy puppies we’ve been blessed with—and for the strength of their proud, though saddened, mama. 💔🐾❤️
