Mike and Maddie of Hyde Park auto have offered to pay the senior adoption fee for any and all seniors adopted between now and January 1. This is very generous of them! Seniors often get passed by which is such a shame because they’ve also got a lot of love to give and life to live! Come on by between 10 and 3 o’clock to meet the dogs and between 10 and 4 o’clock to meet the cats. Mooshy is pictured here helping in the office, and dreaming of a forever home!He is 12 years old, and quite a character.😻

When it is safe to drive tomorrow if you’d like some exercise, and would like to help out the shelter We will need help shoveling out the dog pens and the walkways. Thanks!

Handsome bronze is still waiting. He is such an awesome boy. He went to the event in Carmel (Promenade on route six )in the fall and he was great with everybody. Just two years old. Loves other dogs. Should be in a home! Please visit if you’re interested in adopting.

Becall and Bogey helping with the laundry tonight. They asked me why they’re still here and Santa did not find them a home. It’s so sad because they’re great dogs! Please keep sharing them and let’s see if 2026 will be their year. They say “Merry Christmas everyone” .🎄

We really hope we would have a canine unit, a police officer that had experience with the breed someone who would help him enjoy the life he was meant for. He’s a working dog. But having said that he did live with a family and he did live with a child and he did great. But we would like the best of both worlds for him.please reach out to people that you know that might have experience with the breed and kind of home that he deserves please. He’s amazing! As a working dog, we know he cannot be neutered. But if someone’s adopting him as a pet, he will be neutered. We have an appointment next week so we just wanted to reach out again to see if there were any police departments that were interested in adopting him  before he is neutered. We know they won’t be interested once he is.

Thank you to Westchester Powersports, and all of the people who participated in operation fill the truck! They are absolutely amazing. They come to PHS every year with a truckload of food and supplies. We are very grateful and appreciate all of you! Thank you so much. You are the best of the best.❤️😻🐶❤️
