Davey the wonder foster dog is doing really well. He loves breakfast time. (He is very food motivated.)
He has made fast friends with Adam and Lil’ Man. He follows me everywhere and adores romping all around outdoors in the yard. He has had only a few potty accidents. (Which is really encouraging with his background!) I decided to pick him up and sat him in my lap last night for some back rubs, he decided he liked it so much he stayed there in my lap awhile. That’s a victory. Up until last night I have given him his space to settle in and figure us out. Because of his start in life involving extreme neglect, he is very resistant to human touch, he just isn’t sure about it. He is so cute and curious. Progress.

Hi everyone! I have a new foster little boy. Meet Davey. He’s the smaller guy on the right in this picture with my Lil’Man. (They’re fast friends.)
I’m fostering for Chihuahua Rescue Indiana.
Davey is settling in very well and will be seeking his forever home.
He’s 4 years old and about 10 # and a poodle mix. He Came from an Amish farm, so he is skiddish with people, but he wants to be friends. He is easily startled, so I’ll be working with him along with my family to earn some trust with him. He loves my dogs, and is very interested in hanging near Nathan.
He is incredibly adorable and I just know he will be a wonderful boy for someone. Stay tuned for pics of this cutie. 🥰
