Thank you NorCal Hunter Jumper Association for Spolighting one of our own!

Sara Tuck and her trusty partner GHF Hyde Park (aka “Hippo”) compete in all the 3’ 18 & Over Equitation and 3’ Medals, as well as in some 3’3 Medals and some jumper classes. Sara trains with Toni Venza of Toni Venza Training, and when she’s not in the show ring, she’s a student at Fresno State University. Learn more about Sara and Hippo in this NorCal Member Spotlight! ➡️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

~Favorite NorCal Horse Show: Almaden Farms because it has had a special place in my heart since I was young. Since I do not get to show much, it’s always a great time and a place I get to see all my other horse friends that I don’t otherwise get to see very often.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~Favorite NorCal accomplishment: Winning the Almaden Farms Medal Finals. It was my first big win and being a medal final win, out of a very large class of great riders, was a huge accomplishment for me and also meant a lot.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~Why you started riding: My dad got both myself and my sister into riding when we were young. My mom rode competitively growing up, so when my sister and I got into riding our passion continued to grow and it is a special thing we could share with my mom.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~Why are you a NorCal NJA member? It is an awesome organization to be a part of and they host well-run shows and you get to be around fun people.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~Your horse’s celebrity alter ego: Ben Afflack⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~2020 riding goals: I have a few small 2020 riding goals and some of them are to just compete in a few more medal finals and get some more show experience since I am not the most seasoned show rider, and hopefully to move up into some larger divisions at shows. But mostly just to have fun!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
~Best piece of riding advice you’ve received: From Toni Venza: “It’s not about one specific ride, it’s about the journey you take to get there. Just have fun!”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's that time of year! Time to sign up for the 2020-21 IEA Season!

The Season officially begins August 1. TVT will not be having a welcome meeting this year, so if you are interested in joining our team, please message us!

It will be a very different experience, and IEA has done a great job of developing processes in an effort to help us in having a safe and healthy season.

Please refer to their Good/Better/Best IEA Event Guideline and a COVID-19 Resource Guide. We hope to hear from you !! GO TVT!

We look forward to our 2020-2021 season beginning in August, and our primary goal is to keep everyone associated with our organization safe and healthy in the new season, while still providing an opportunity to ride and compete.

To do so, the IEA COVID-19 Task Force has created a Good/Better/Best IEA Event Guideline and a COVID-19 Resource Guide. In addition, a few Rules have been amended/added so we can adjust to operating in this environment.

The IEA will consistently monitor the COVID-19 situation and adapt accordingly. National/State/Local Government and/or Health Department rules may differ from these IEA Guidelines/Rules. In ALL cases, the more restrictive regulations, recommendations, guidelines and requirements will prevail. Please review appropriate information before holding/attending an IEA event.

Welcome to Summer!
Summer horse camp and lesson programs! With Covid keeping our kids inside and isolated , why not sign them up for horseback riding lessons?
We offer a safe, clean facility with social distancing protocol. Our staff are fully trained in Covid prevention.
This year we are having small camps where kids can have an amazing time riding and caring for horses.
Our camps this summer are:

Session 2 - June 22-26
Session 3 - July 14-17
Session 4 - July 28-20
Session 5 - August 5 – 7

These camps are limited in numbers, so act quickly if you want a spot.
We also are offering 1/2 hour private lessons or 1 hour group lessons.
