Happy Independence Day Eve!!

As everyone is getting ready to enjoy the festivities food, games and fireworks!!! Keep safety in mind.

If youā€™re going somewhere leave your pet home. Strange locations filled with strange people and strange smells when it sounds like the world is ending is not fun for your dog.
If you know your dog will panic you should stay home with your dog.

Every year dogs run away and lost or killed. Itā€™s preventable.
Donā€™t leave your dog outside unattended even in a fenced yard.
Make sure the collar is properly fitted and leash is in good condition.
Avoid walks in the evening. Quick potty break and play time.
Fireworks can be set off any time of year, anticipate it will happen multiple days.

During parties crate your dog or *lock them in a room. Dogs can slip out an open door or gate. Dogs can ingest something dangerous.

Stay safe. Have fun!!

In order to gain off leash reliability you need to have a good relationship with your dog and practice a lot! Most dogs can be trained to be reliable off leash. Some dogs will benefit from Ecollar training.
