He's less than a year old, and this was his first trip to visit a groomer. He was pretty confused by the process, but I think by the end, he was starting to catch on. Thank you so much, Whitney and Andy, for helping hold Hank during his nail trim! I couldn't have gotten them that short without your assistance!!! I am unsure if Hank would agree, but I consider his shedless treatment, nail trim, and ear cleaning a success.
Grooming Hank was like being swept up in the most adorable tornado with the most velvety ears you can imagine. I am excited for Hank to get used to being groomed because he is an absolute sweetheart.

Let's play guess who is who again... One believes she should always be held and that pottying outside is for dogs, not babies. Because she IS a baby, not a dog, outside pottying doesn't apply to her life plan. One believes he should herd children and run at top speeds everywhere he goes. One is an all-around good girl and a big sister who likes being sung to while being groomed. Her parents may want to have her hearing checked because I can't sing a note. One would most likely be a dangerous cult leader if she were human, and we would all happily do her bidding. She is currently in a serious turf war with some pesky cats who are obviously unaware of her long-term goals for total world domination.

His name is Fritz Gerold Patrick Tebbe-Geoffray Esq. III, but if you're a friend, you can call him Fritz. He may be somewhat blind and somewhat deaf, but he is 100% a good boy for being groomed. Mr. Fritz received an all-over makeover and left Furfetti with a handsome Halloween bowtie. He looks like a completely new boy who is ready to go trick-or-treating.

Can you guess who is who??? One screams at me and wags his tail simultaneously the entire time he is groomed, one thinks she needs ALL the attention, one has traveled all over the country even though he is under a year old, and one loves freeze-dried liver treats more than life itself.

Currently, two wet-nosed sweeties at the Clinton County Animal Control would benefit from that kindhearted someone who can give them a stable and loving home. A little about Lukas and Ruby: I opened the door to Furfetti a couple of weeks ago, not knowing that there was a dog on the other side of it, and Lukas decided he was going to attempt to walk right in like he owned the joint. He happily let me scoop him up before he got through the door. I looked around for where this dog may have come from and saw another similar-looking dog standing behind a tree. The other dog was Ruby. From what information I have, I believe that Ruby is Lucas's mom. Lukas is remarkably friendly but is still young (approximately 6 months old). Like any young dog, he will need consistency in his training regarding chewing and potty training. He follows Ruby's lead, and I think training him may be easier if they are kept together. It appears that Ruby is housebroken. They both understand walking on a leash properly within a couple of minutes. Ruby and Lukas will have the best life if they can be a part of a loving home with a fenced-in yard, whether that be a wireless, underground, or traditional fence. You will benefit from it too, because watching them run and play is a sight to behold. They fully come alive, and pure joy washes over their faces when they are able to cut loose and run and tumble together. Without being on a leash or having a fenced-in area, I fear these two would likely run away again because they simply were not taught any different. Both Ruby and Lukas could not be any sweeter if they tried.
I know they will be eternally grateful to have a stable forever home where they receive what they need to thrive. Both Ruby and Lukas are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have their rabies vaccinations thanks to the services of Clinton County Animal Control.
