What day is it and where am I? Some days that's just how I feel as I go from home to home caring for these amazing dogs. I spent a week with Luca, he is such a fun little guy. He liked to play chase around the house and boy could he wear me out!. Then it was back to Pixie's house, most days we went to the dog park down the street but walked at the beach a couple of times too. I've stayed at her house so much it feels like home. Then it was on to spend time with Molly! Molly's Mom is a dog sitter friend of mine and she went back east to spend time with her family so I'm here caring for Molly who is the best cuddler and wherever we go she loves everyone! Callie and Hildie will be joining.us on Sunday and then there will be 3 for next week so stay tuned for more adventures as Im sure I will be taking all 3 to the duck pond😃

Thought I would check in and let you know how caring dogs in their home as opposed to mine is working out. Right now I'm caring for Felix and it feels kind of like being on vacation (see photos.) Caring for only one dog instead of multiples I get super attached. Dont get me wrong; I was always close with all my little ones but its just a little different. When I leave I feel kind of like Im leaving my dog. Very weird!
The really bad part is I've had to turn down some of my really good clients because Im booked with one dog. It affects my income greatly as well. But Im grateful to be able to spend such quality time with each and every one. We have such a great time they dont really miss their family but make no mistake when they return its a party!

Taking care of Pixie and Charlie at Charlie's house We walked at the lagoon tonight and they are pooped. There is a little bit of room in this chair for me 😅

I went straight from caring for 100lb Sequoia to 11lb Ollie. Ollie is a poodle mix and only 6 months old. Ollie has a big personality but was shy on our first day. He sleeps in a crate at night but was having none of it last night so there was no sleep as he barked and barked then he would fall asleep, refresh and bark again for hours. I didnt want to give into him because then he would think all he had to do was bark to get his way. Soo we are 2 very tired souls today. All I have ate pics of him sleeping so far but I will post a picture of his face when he is up. Wish me luck for tonight😀

This week I came out of my comfort zone! Way out as I cared for a 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog by the name of Sequoia. Probably the easiest dog I've ever cared for. She is just a big marshmallow but I guess at a 100 lbs you tire easily so walks were shorter and slower than Im used to with small dogs. I didn't walk her she walked me as in we went where she chose to go. She didn't pull on the leash at all unless she was redirecting me. Sequoia was very polite about it. Im going to miss that girl but I know I will be back. Love you Sequoia❤️

Soo today I cared for Abby again. She is the sweetest little Havanese. She has been coming to me for about 6 years and over time she andcI have gotten pretty close. Last week when I arrived at her home. She raced out the door as she recognized my car. It was scary for a minute as I was still.parking but I stopped as sheeran to my car door. Today her Mom kept her in. We went for a walk at the beach as it was a gorgeous day. Love her so much z but then I love all my little muchkins!

Took care of Abby on Sunday. She is not a real social dog so we went for a walk above the flower fields. Abby did very well on her peaceful walk and from a short distance met 4 little white dogs that were so cute and sweet. Their parents were lovely people so it was a good afternoon. I will be caring for Abby again on Friday

Today I'm doing a daycare visit with Charlie at his home. Charlie has been coming to me for a while now so this is the first time I'm coming to him. He was so excited when I showed up at his door.
I have lots of openings for 1 night to 2 weeks for May so give me a call. Let's set it up! I love caring for these little guys
