This gentle Leonberger mama was abandoned while heavily pregnant—

left behind when her size felt like too much to handle.

Powerful yet tender,

calm, loyal, endlessly patient,

she carried both weight and worry in silence.

Still, she never gave up.

Not even once.

Now she stays close to her little ones every moment,

steady, watchful, deeply nurturing.

She carefully curves her large body around them to keep them warm,

lowers her head when they cry,

and guards them with a quiet, reassuring presence

that feels like safety itself.

In her soulful eyes lives deep love,

but also a quiet sadness—

the fear of being overlooked,

of being judged by her size,

of being forgotten…

just another giant waiting behind shelter doors.

She isn’t just another shelter mama.

She is gentleness in a lion’s form,

a noble soul—

still dreaming of space, peace,

and a place where her heart can finally rest.

Through her calm devotion, her puppies are growing,

learning trust,

learning confidence,

learning what safety feels like.

But a kennel should never be their final chapter.

They deserve open space and loving homes.

💔 My little white fluffball is fighting so hard right now at the vet. He’s on oxygen, looking so tiny and tired, and my heart is breaking watching him struggle. He’s been my constant companion, my joy, my everything for years… and I’m terrified of losing him.
Please, if you have a moment, send up prayers, good thoughts, healing energy—whatever you believe in—for my sweet boy to pull through this. He deserves every chance. I’m holding on tight and need all the love and strength I can get.

So sad we didn't think Zekee will leave our side so soon my daughter still doesn't want to eat anything it's so heartbreaking losing Zekee at the age of 9,2 he always inspired me that true love still lives out there, Just sad not with him now
