Back to back horse shows has us behind in our horse show posts!

We had a great time at The Grange Novice and Quarter Horse show a few weekends ago! Thank you to show staff and management for putting on a well run show!

Zoey Turner and “Phillie” had some great moments over the weekend, especially winning her first Level One Amateur Showmanship class out of 17! “Phillie” also went 1,2 in the Sr. HUS with Will!

💫THE KRYMSUN VERSION💫
The Witmer family had great goes with “Benson”! Megan had great rides even winning the Level One Amateur WT Western Pleasure! Danny made his showmanship debut and had great goes as well! Reese and “Benson” made their lead line debut as well!

Joyce Hoff and “Reggie” made their debut in the Amateur Aged Geldings going 1,5 and standing for Grand and Reserve. “Reggie” also went 1,2 in the Open Aged Geldings with Will and winning Grand and Reserve!

Claire Beinhower and “Hank” looked great and had so much fun in their leadline class!

Pearl and “Critter” had a fantastic weekend winning almost every class they stepped into! And a huge thank you to Pearl for helping Shaun, myself, and everyone else to keep things running smoothly! Olivia also had great placings in lead line with “Critter”!

Shaun and “KC” went on to earn points and money in their HUS and western pleasure classes even winning the Green HUS on both cards! Reese and “KC” went 1,3 in their leadline class as well!

First time out for “Benson” with us and we couldn’t have asked for a more steady mount! Placings with Megan in her All-Breed Showmanship class and 1,2 in the All-Breed Western Pleasure with Will!

“Pearl” took her first outing of the year and made her statement in the halter pen going 2,3 in Open Performance Mares with Shaun and going 1,2 in the Jr. HUS with Will!

Ashley and “Remi” joined our crew again this weekend! Multiple wins in their western pleasure classes and they even made their horsemanship debut! “Remi” also went 1,2 in the all-age western pleasure with Will!

Our crew spent Easter weekend at the GSPHC Spring Show!

Some highlights: Wins in Halter, Showmanship, Color, Longe Line, Hunter Under Saddle, In-Hand Trail, Western Pleasure, and Horsemanship. Johnna Stables is seeking a committed and proactive individual to oversee the operations of a 52-stall training and breeding facility. Responsibilities will include cleaning and bedding stalls, maintaining automatic water dishes and buckets, feeding the horses, ensuring the barn is tidy, assisting with turnout, and performing various other tasks to keep the facility running efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible, organized, motivated, and able to follow directions. This position requires a strong work ethic, so please do not apply if you are not prepared for hard work. Serious applicants only, as this role requires working six days a week. Housing options may be available.

Additionally, there are opportunities for saddling, lunging, and internships for the right candidate.
